LG Healthcare TVs ExplainedWith the growth of the consumer market of high-definition programming and theflat-panel industrial design seen in LCD, LED and OLED televisions, the majorityof the patient population are accustomed to and expect these innovations duringtheir hospital stay. Hospital grade TVs include specific features that consumer TVscannot offer, making them safer for the patient and easier for clinician use.Compared to consumer sets, healthcare televisions are engineered andconstructed with a different end user in mind. Pro:Centric alsoprovides an easy way for the LX770M to interface with interactive program guides,games and internet data feeds, as well as applications designed to connectpatients to services, such as dietary menus and patient room information.*

SafetyLG’s healthcare televisions meet Underwriters Laboratories’ HospitalGrade classification for TV’s. These safety certifications ensure thehospital has products that are safer when used in the patient roomenvironment.

Nurse-Call & Pillow SpeakerLG’s hospital grade TVs have a nurse-call interface on its wireduniversal pillow speaker control. This device allows the patient tocommunicate safely with the nurse station, and vice-versa whilemomentarily canceling the television audio to ensure clearcommunication. Hospital-grade televisions also provide electronicisolation to the pillow speaker control to ensure safety in apotentially oxygen-enriched environment.

Smart Share Enjoy and share content stored on your laptop, digital cameras,smartphones and other devices to the TV seamlessly.

Video playback only - content on phones can play on the TV throughthe Smart Share app on compatible LG smartphones.

Reduced Cost of OwnershipWhen these TVs are configured for LG's Free-To-Guest Mode of operation (either viaCPU or EBL), remote management options are available, as described below. Withremote management, individual room visits are no longer required for TV configurationupdates, including FTG Channel Map and FTG Installer Menu settings updates, therebysaving labor costs.

PCS200S HEAD-END SYSTEMRemote management functions are supported via the Pro:Centric server which hasan agile frequency QAM or IP output. The Pro:Centric Application software is alsosupported via the same server to deliver the benefits of LG’s Applications features(Weather, EPG, Billboards...)

FMA-LG102 MANAGEMENT APPLIANCELG's Free-To-Guest Management Appliance delivers the FTG Channel Map to thepatient rooms, via the hospital's RF distribution.

REMOTE MANAGERUsing LG's optional Pro:Centric server, you can remotely manage cloning and channelmapping for TVs in patient rooms without having to visit each room.

Ez MANAGEREzManager’s auto configuration function makes instal-lation quick and easy. It guidesthe installer to set up the TV with simple steps without having to set up the menumanually, saving time and cost.

EXPRESS SCRIPTThe Express Script provides streamlined configuration of the TV for FTG Mode viaCPU operation (including pillow speaker setup) and also provides the option toconfigure the TV for Pro:Centric operation.

USB CLONINGEffectively Manage Patient Room TVs through the USB Cloning feature which allowssimply copy settings from a designated Master TV using a USB memory device, aprocess that is fully automated to save time.
