Welcome“One day an expert in religious law stood up to test Jesus by ask-ing him this question: ‘Teacher, what should I do to inherit eternal life?’” (LUKE 10:25 NLT). An expert. A test. A question. Jesus. Eternal life. And one of the most astonishing stories ever told, the parable of the Good Samaritan. It’s all here. “And who is my neighbor?” asked the expert later, after the Lord drilled down beneath the veneer. Jesus’ answer defines Kingdom life still.
Read Luke 10 as a collection of digital pics, each capturing a truth and a moment in the unfolding call of Christ. From the sending of the “seventy-two” into “all the towns and places he planned to visit” (LUKE 10:1), to the vision of Satan falling “from heaven like lightning” (LUKE 10:18), to the giving of “authority over all the power of the enemy” (LUKE 10:19), to the transforming presence of Jesus as a guest for dinner in the home of Martha and Mary (LUKE 10:38)—Jesus is all about reclamation, taking back what hell has stolen, town by town, house by house, neighbor by neighbor.
RECLAMATION. IT IS THE WORK OF THE KINGDOM;it is the clothing of eternal life. Reclaim Your Neighbor. It is the call of Jesus. Reclaim Your Neighborhood. It must be the ambition of every believer, every local church family. It is the theme of our ChoG Regional Conventions 2016. Thanks for joining us. Thank you for digging deep with us into the Word and the Way. Be encouraged. Jesus is the subject. And, by His hand, we can change the world. And by walking on the road from Jerusalem to Jericho with Him, we, too, can discover the answer to life’s greatest question. We’re glad you’re here.
In Christ,
Jim LyonGeneral DirectorChurch of God Ministries

moving the Church of God into a bright future! God is using this
movement to bring about a hope to God’s people that has been silent
for too long. Get ready for a transforming experience in your life that
begins with our Regional Conventions this year. Let’s keep Jesus as the
subject. Can’t wait to see you in Wichita in 2017!”

Arnetta McNeese BaileyRev. Arnetta McNeese Bailey is a woman whose passion for ministry permeates every fiber of her being. From a ministry birthed out of an impassioned son’s plea seeking help for his drug-addicted mother, to

Arnetta is the executive director of Christian Women Connection, the national women’s ministry of the Church of God. She is also the founder and executive director of Priscilla’s Lost and Found and In the Company of Good Men, faith-based mentoring programs for women and men in transition. Rev. Bailey and her family are members of Sherman Street Church of God in Anderson, Indiana. She has three children—Merlelynn, Markus, and Jamal, and is the proud grandmother of two.
Jim LyonJim originally dreamed of a career in politics and found himself representing northwest Seattle in the Washington State House of Representatives in the early 1980s. But ultimately, it was Christian ministry that became his passion. He served in pastoral ministry in both the Pacific Northwest and the Midwest. From 1991 through 2013, he served as senior pastor at Madison Park Church of God in Anderson, Indiana. In August 2013, he became general director of Church of God Ministries.
An articulate preacher, teacher, and motivational speaker, Jim was invited to anchor the ViewPoint broadcast in 1996. Helping people see Jesus at work in their world has become his life’s work; engaging the world for heaven’s sake has become his life’s calling.

Alanna StoryBorn into a family with a deep faith and musical heritage, Anna Hodge and Ally West had a love for music since they were very young. As the sisters grew in their walks with God, they found music to not only be their response to the things they experienced—both painful and beautiful things—but also a way to connect to the heart of God and help others do so. In addition to being original artists, the sisters also have a strong calling to lead worship. Over the years, doors opened for Ally and Anna to share and lead together and, in 2008, Alanna Story officially began.
The band was divinely (and literally) formed into a family, comprised of Ally’s husband, Stephen (electric guitar); Anna’s husband, Ben (drums); and Joel Burkhead (bass), who the girls consider a brother. Uniting incredible talent and sincere hearts for worship, the band creates a powerful, energetic atmosphere for others to encounter the presence of God. Their recording projects include Keep Breathing (2009), Flickering Spark (2011), Just Offshore (2013), Ancient Gates (2014), and their latest, We Hymn (2016). Having shared the stage with many national recording artists, and as their influence continues to expand, Alanna Story’s main pursuit remains: to love God and to lead others into his presence.

Our Mission …is to educate, equip and influence African pastors to love people as Jesus loves them and guide them into a growing relationship with God.
Our Focus…is in Liberia, West Africa planting churches, physically and spiritually, while promoting Church of God mission.
Our Vision…is that all the people we encounter will come to personally know and experience Christ’s love, spirit and truth through Christ-Centered ministries.

At Anderson University School of Theology, our students represent a range of cultures and experiences, but they all have one thing in common:
They would not be here preparing for ministry without the scholarship assistance they receive from congregations like yours.
We chose the Anderson University School of Theology because of the high academic standards, the Blackwelder Tuition Assistance Scholarship for Church of God students, and the quality affordable housing. Taking classes together challenged and prepared us to work cooperatively in future ministry endeavors. Our professors encouraged and equipped us, and our experience at the SOT fueled our passion for a future in church planting. tyler and becca johnson, both mdivs ‘14

Please see Jeff Jenness, Jim O’Bold, and James Brown at our booth today!

Irecently retired as the State Pastor in Arizona, conclud-ing 40 years of full-time ministry. My goal was not to re-tire from ministry, but to be free to serve as needed in
roles that fit my gifts and passions for this season of life. Iprayed and planned to be able to do that by investing in theretirement plan from the beginning of my ministry. I nowserve as Discipleship Pastor at Community of Hope Churchin Maricopa, AZ in a part-time role that I love. I can serve ina 'want to' ministry, not a 'have to'. Investing as much asyou can as early as you can for as long as you can willenable you to be ready for fruitful ministry beyond the retire-ment years.
The Financial Roadmap tool is like a financial physical. With the help of the staff at Servant Solutions, it gaveme a well rounded perspective of where I was,
where I want to be, and how to get there. It was so help-ful that all of our Salem Church of God pastors are goingthrough the same process to strengthen their financial futureas well. The Financial Roadmap tool and the Servant Solu-tions staff are hard to beat and best of allit’s FREE!
