When you toke o reoding, the meter indicofes o ser ies ofoperture-speed combinot ions for correct exposure under ihe prevoi l ingl ight condi t ions where you intend to toke the pic iure. From sucho ser ies you then choose most sui toble operture-speed combinot ion for yoursubiect , ond set the contro ls of the VITO BR occordingly

    Choose therefore o combinot ion wi th o fost shut ter speed for moving subiects(e. g. chi ldren ot p loy, sports shots) ; for scenes requir ing greot depth of f ie ld(such os londscope v iews) set o combinot ion using o smol l operture. For fur therdefoi ls see the sect ion on opertures ond depth of f ie ld on poge 23.

In thot cose you only need fo turn theshutter speed set t ing r ing (7) to move the V index to the lef t or r ight to thedesired speed.
