Professional sports photographers know that the easiest and most cost effective way to transform a simple print into a professional finished product is by packaging the print in a quality sports mount. Generally, there are two types of sports mounts—traditional sports mounts and digital sports mounts. A traditional sports mount refers to a memory mate or sports folder that holds two prints, most commonly a team portrait and an individual portrait. A digital sports mount refers to an easel or mount that holds a single print, typically a digital composite of team and individual portraits, graphics and other effects. Both traditional and digital sports mounts are designed to display and protect

prints while enhancing the photographer’s work and increasing the perceived value of the total package.

Today’s professional sports photographer understands the importance of the perceived value and the impact of the finished product to the customer. Sports packaging is affordable—typically adding less than $0.50 to the cost of a single package—and can increase the value of the package significantly. Additionally, with the variety of sports packaging available professional sports photographers are able to offer several levels of packaging. CUSTOMIZE YOUR SPORTS PACKAGING WITH FOIL IMPRINTING

Foil imprinting is the easiest way to customize and personalize your photo packaging. We offer four imprinting services tailored towards sports packaging: commercial die imprinting, studio die imprinting, typeset imprinting and sports logo imprinting.

Commercial Die ImprintingCommercial dies are often created and used to customize memory mates with a sports league or team logo. Our plain memory mates, such as the Tyndell Pro Sports Series Memory Mates or Tyndell E or F Series Memory Mates are ideal for this type of imprinting application.

Studio Die ImprintingIt is very common to have a studio die of your logo created to imprint your photo packaging products. This is a great way to customize and brand your work. It’s also an inexpensive way to advertise your business. For sports photography products, it is common to imprint your studio die on the back of a memory mate or easel, and on the back or inside cover of a folder.

Typeset ImprintingTypeset imprinting is a great way to personalize your sports photo packaging. It is commonly used to personalize memory mates, easels or folders with a league or team name, a sports event title and date, or other unique messages. For example, “Hilltop Golf Tournament, August 8, 2015.” Choose from one of three font styles: Block, Script and Modern.

Sports Logo ImprintingChoose from one of our standard sports logo dies to create a unique sports mount when other options are not available. We offer over 40 sports logos including: band, bowling, volleyball, dance, cheerleading, softball, tee-ball, golf, and many more! The Versatile PHOTO CASEA PHOTO CASE IS AN ALTERNATIVE TO A BOX.

It can be used for single or multiple print delivery and can easily be accessorized with foil imprinting, tissue paper, ribbon and stribbons for a more upscale look. It takes up very little storage and is easy and inexpensive to ship. Below are two ways the photo case is used:

MULTI-PRINT PACKAGING (multiple photographs)

The Photo case has scored edges that pop out to expand the capacity of the photo case. A Photo Case can hold up to 12 unmounted prints or 1-3 mounted prints depending on the thickness of your mount board. Using the scored edges is ideal for delivering a less expensive package or for a volume studio everyday package.

SINGLE PRINT PACKAGING (single photograph)

For a higher end studio the photo case is an ideal way to deliver a single print to a customer. This elegant piece can be upgraded with studio imprinting, pre-cut tissue to line the inside, and stribbon, ribbon, or raffia for a closure.
