Christmas Function Tue 20th Dec, at Baxter Tavern. Arrive by 10:00 am for a Christmas morning tea followed by our December general meeting commencing 10:30am. This meeting will be brief and followed by our traditional Christmas luncheon and entertainment. Our function should be finished by 3:00 pm. Cost is $35 per person for a two course lunch including our morning tea, (drinks, tea or coffee with your meal are not included). Please ensure that you register today and advise of any special dietary needs and your seating preference. Attendance numbers, seating arrangements and all payments must be finalised today. Starting point will be the Norman Avenue shops which is where we can park our vehicles, (Melway p101 K8). This walk of about 3 Km is for the fitter participants as this route includes steps down to the Creek boardwalks (and return of course). No public toilets in this reserve. Morning cuppa available when we return to the shops. Come prepared for a pleasant walk and the weather of the day, bring your water bottle and camera. The lunch will consist of anti-pasta platters, polenta, calamari, risotto, wood-fired pizzas and salads. The cost for the wine tasting and lunch is $40 per person. I mentioned at the last meeting, in order to try to complete our Club History section of the Club website, we really need to record something about each of the holidays undertaken since the inception of the Club in 2000. Those of you who have participated in any of these, please go through your photos at some stage before Christmas & either email digital copies of them to me, or place photos in an envelope, making sure your name is on the back of each one so that I can return them to you & either hand them to me or send in the mail.
