How does MyPerks work?Delta Dental employees access MyPerks through MyDDPA. Once login is accomplished, employees will be able to review available offerings and select any that may be attractive. Once you select a company, MyPerks will communicate to the company (or companies) that you are a qualified member and elibigle for the appropriate discounts. The company (or companies) will contact the employee directly to complete their order. To avoid confusion, do not contact the companies directly. Using MyPerks insures that proper identification can be made and appropriate pricing assigned.

What is required of me?Simply join! There is no cost to try it out but there are tremendous perks!

What benefits can I expect to see?Lower Prices: We are able to provide significant

reductions in the prices for office supplies, cellular telephone usage, and many other elements because of our user volume. If you want to see even better pricing in the future, then use MyPerks and encourage others to do so because with many businesses, pricing becomes more favorable as certain volume thresholds are reached. The United Dental Alliance agreements are often created to “lock” prices in for the duration of the contract term while establishing measurable standards for service quality.

Are employees required to purchase from a given company?No! There is no obligation to purchase from any company in MyPerks. Each Delta Dental member company and employee retains their right of choice in purchasing. Your only obligation is to pay for the products or services you order but you are not obligated to purchase solely through MyPerks.

Best Buy offers Delta Dental employees an opportunity to obtain discounts on retail products purchased online.

Televisions are an excellent value, as are many of the Best Buy electronics. Frequent shopping is recommended to see if a category of interest is being discounted by Best Buy.

Since a static discount list is not provided, and prices do change, it is also recommended that advertised prices through this agreement be compared to other sources.

ShippingFedExThrough the My Perks program, FedEx offers Delta Dental employees tremendous discounts on shipping. If you have children in college, a side business selling your treasures, or extended family in other states – save 30 percent to 40 percents on ground shipments and up to 52 percent on overnight parcels.

You must have an existing FedEx account before applying for a discount but opening one is free.

This agreement covers FedEx service for the entire U.S. including Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico. There are no requirements for number of shipments, weight or dollar volume that must be met. Whether you ship one package or thirty per week, everyone gets the same discount. There is a minimum charge for each shipment which is just under $7 for a one pound package and $11 for an overnight one pound shipment. Cellular Phone Service

AT&TDelta Dental employees who are current or new AT&T cellular customers can receive a 24 percent discount on qualifying monthly AT&T cellular service plans. Discounts are extended to service charges for minutes, text messaging and qualifying data plans. Recurring charges such as taxes and other fees excluded.

Discounts apply to the services on all lines listed on the account and extend to the entire service cost for the newer service plans which began in mid 2014 (older AT&T service plans prior to 2014 also receive discounts for service plans that are not unlimited). Certain portions of the monthly bill will not be discounted, such as charges for additional lines, state and federal fees and other charges such as phone insurance. This discount is one the highest in the cellular industry and enrollment is absolutely free. Enrolling for this discount with AT&T does not restart your accrued equipment credit time.

Staples calls this their procurement program and it links your credit card – Discover, Amex, Mastercard or Visa – to our discount program with them.
