TOLEDO - Fresh off its big upset of No. 18 Ar- kansas, Toledo now shifts its focus on another school from a “Power Five” conference, Iowa State of the Big 12. The Rockets host the Cy- clones at the Glass Bowl this Saturday, Sept. 19 (8:00 p.m./ESPNews) in what could be another chance for Matt Campbell’s squad to make a national statement. A victory over Iowa State would mark the first time in school history that Toledo has defeated two teams from one of the “Power Five” leagues in the same season. Iowa State (1-1) opened the season against two in-state foes, a 31-7 triumph over FCS oppo- nent Northern Iowa on Sept. 5 and a 31-17 de- feat to Iowa last Saturday. The Cyclones are led by senior QB Sam Richardson, who completed 37-of-53 passes for 351 yards in a 37-30 win over Toledo in Ames last year. So far in 2015, Richard- son has completed 62 percent of his passes for 480 yards. Stingy defense and a clutch performance by senior quarterback Phillip Ely were the biggest keys to Toledo’s win over Arkansas in Little Rock. Ely completed 21-of-38 passes for 237 yards and one TD. He did not throw an interception and was not sacked. Perhaps most impressive of all, he converted seven third-down passes and one fourth-down throw. Toledo’s defense controlled the Razorback running game, holding them to 103 yards on 31 carries. The Rocket secondary chipped in with an interception and eight pass breakups. Senior CB Cheatham Norrils had three breakups, including two in Arkansas’ final drive of the game that sealed the victory. 2015 Toledo Football Date Opponent Time Sept. 3 STONY BROOK (ESPN3) Cancelled Sept. 12 at #18 Arkansas (SEC Network) W, 16-12 Sept. 19 IOWA STATE (ESPNews) 8:00 p.m. Sept. 26 ARKANSAS STATE TBA Oct. 3 at Ball State * 3:00 p.m. Oct. 10 KENT STATE * (HC) 3:00 p.m. Oct. 17 EASTERN MICHIGAN * TBA Oct. 24 at UMass * TBA Nov. 3 NORTHERN ILLINOIS * (ESPN2) 8:00 p.m. Nov. 10 at Central Michigan * (ESPN2/U) 8:00 p.m. Nov. 17 at Bowling Green * (ESPN2/U) TBA Nov. 27 WESTERN MICHIGAN * TBA Dec. 4 MAC Championship Game# 8:00 p.m. Schedule subject to change. * Mid-American Conference Game # West Division champion vs. East Division champion, Ford Field, Detroit, MI Toledo vs. Iowa State • TEAM RECORDS: Toledo (1-0, 0-0 MAC) Iowa State (1-1, 0-0 Big 12) • SERIES RECORD: Iowa State leads, 2-1. TOLEDO NAMED NATIONAL TEAM OF THE WEEK BY FWAA AND U.S. SPORTS ACADEMY Toledo was named the Nation-al Team of the Week by the Foot-ball Writers Association of America (FWAA) and the U.S. Sports Academy following the 16-12 victory over No. 18 Arkansas on Sept. 12. It is the first time the Rockets have earned the FWAA’s AutoNation Na-tional Team of the Week honor since the award began in 2002. AutoNation will donate $1,000 to the Breast Can-cer Research Foundation (BCRF) in the University of Toledo’s name. Toledo’s honor by the U.S. Sports Academy means it is eligible for the game of the year award at the end of the season. The winner of that honor earns $5,000 toward its school’s gen-eral scholarship fund.

DEJUAN ROGERS NAMED WALTER CAMP NATIONAL PLAYER OF THE WEEK Junior safety DeJuan Rogers was named the Walter Camp National Defensive Player of the Week for his performance in Toledo’s 16-12 victory over No. 18 Arkansas on Sept. 12. Rogers recorded a career-high 11 tackles, recorded one interception that stopped a Razorback touchdown and broke up another throw in Tole-do’s victory. Rogers is the first Toledo player to earn Walter Camp National Player of the Week honors, and the first hon-oree from the Mid-American Confer-ence since Oct. 20, 2013 (Northern Illinois QB Jordan Lynch).

NORRILS, ELY NAMED MAC WEST PLAYERS OF THE WEEK Senior cornerback Cheatham Norrils (defense) and senior quarter-back Phillip Ely (offense) were named the Mid-American Conference players

ROCKET UPDATE • Toledo is 1-0 following its 16-12 win at No. 18 Arkansas on Sept. 12. • Senior QB Phillip Ely completed 21-of-38 passes for 237 yards and one TD vs. Arkansas. He did not throw an interception and was not sacked. He also converted seven third-down passes and one fourth-down pass. • Toledo’s defense allowed just 103 rushing yards vs. the Razorbacks. The secondary had eight pass breakups and junior safety Dejuan Rogers had a critical interception in the end zone. • Toledo’s season opener vs. Stony Brook on Sept. 3 at the Glass Bowl was cancelled due to severe weather. The game will not be rescheduled and of-ficially goes down as “no contest.” • Senior RB Kareem Hunt and senior defensive end Allen Covington will return to the lineup this week after miss-ing the first two games due to a violation of team policy.

ROCKET VICTORY OVER ARKANSAS WAS ONE FOR THE BOOKS Toledo’s win over Arkansas was historic for a number of reasons: • It was its first win for Toledo over a team from the SEC. The Rockets pre-viously were 0-3 with two losses to Missouri and one to Florida. • It was Toledo’s first win over a Top 25 team since a 29-23 win over No. 18 Cincinnati in the Glass Bowl in 2012. The highest ranked team defeated by Toledo was No. 9 Pittsburgh in 2003. • It was only the second time To-ledo has defeated a Top 25 team on its home field and first-ever vs. a non-conference foe. The Rockets won at No. 24 Northern Illinois in 2004. • This was Toledo’s first win over a “Power Five” conference since a 31-20 win over Purdue in 2010. • Toledo’s win over Arkansas marks the first MAC win against an opponent from the SEC since 2004 (Ohio 28-16 win at Kentucky on Oct. 2, 2004). Toledo is now 8-14 all-time vs.

defense halted to secure the victory. Ely threw for 237 yards and one touchdown with neither an intercep-tion nor a sack vs. the Razorbacks. He also converted seven third-down passes, four of which were more than 10 yards.

MORE HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE AR-KANSAS WIN • Junior Damion Jones-Moore led the Rockets with 68 yards and one touchdown on 11 carries. • Junior Marc Remy made his first career start at running back. Sopho-more RB Terry Swanson (ankle) was scheduled to start but did not play. • Junior Corey Jones led the re-ceivers with eight receptions for 61 yards and one score. • Senior Alonzo Russell caught one pass for 32 yards. It was the 39th consecutive game in which Russell caught at least one pass, accounting for every game in his four-year career. • Junior Jaylen Coleman led To-ledo with a career-high 13 tackles. • Toledo’s defense was credited with eight pass breakups, led by a ca-reer-high three by senior cornerback Cheatham Norrils. • Junior safety DeJuan Rogers had his first career interception, a critical pick in the Arkansas end zone in the third quarter. Rogers added a career-high 11 tackles.

ROCKETS PICK UP VOTES IN POLLS Coming off its big win over No. 18 Arkansas on Saturday, the Toledo Rockets nearly vaulted into the Top 25 themselves this week. This week’s As-sociated Press media poll gave Toledo 29 points, just five spots out of the Top 25 for an unofficial ranking of No. 30. Toledo also picked up six points in the coaches poll. The last time Toledo was ranked in the Top 25 was Oct. 29, 2012 following a 29-23 victory over then-No. 18 Cincin-nati in Matt Campbell’s first season as

head coach of the Rockets.

TOLEDO-IOWA STATE SERIES This will be the fourth meeting between Toledo and Iowa State, with the Cyclones holding a 2-1 edge in the series. ISU won in Ames last year, 37-30. This is the final game in a home-and-home series. The two schools split a pair of ex-citing games in the 2000s, with Iowa State winning 45-43 in triple-overtime in Ames in 2006 and the Rockets tri-umphing a year later in Toledo, 36-35.

ROCKETS ON TV The Iowa State game will be broad-cast on ESPNews. The announcers are Eamon McAnaney (play by play) and Rocky Boiman (analyst). Toledo is 32-40 in games on national TV, 1-0 on ESPNews.

HUNT, COVINGTON BACK IN ACTION Senior defensive end Allen Coving-ton and junior running back Kareem Hunt will be back on the playing field vs. Iowa State. Each player missed the first two games due to violation of team policies.

PHILLIP ELY IMPRESSIVE IN RETURN AT QUARTERBACK Senior Phillip Ely’s performance vs. Arkansas should settle any questions about his comeback from injury. Nearly one year to the day of his knee and shoulder injuries last season, Ely crafted a masterful performance in Toledo’s 16-12 victory over Arkansas on Sept. 12. Ely suffered a season-ending knee injury vs. Missouri in the season’s sec-ond game on Sept. 6, 2014. Ely also tore the labrum in his left shoulder in that

game. He had surgery for both injuries and endured a long and arduous fight back onto the playing field. He was named the starter for Toledo’s aborted opener vs. Stony Brook on Sept. 3, com-pleting 8-of-16 passes for 70 yards in 30 minutes of work. But the former Alabama quarter-back made a statement in the Arkansas game, throwing for 237 yards with nei-ther an interception nor a sack. He also converted seven third-down passes, four of which were more than 10 yards.

NEXT MAN UP Junior Damion Jones-Moore is a little man who has played a big role at running back in the absence of Kareem Hunt. The stats ended up not counting, but Moore made the most of his five carries in the season opener vs. Stony Brook, rushing for 70 yards and two touchdowns. In the 16-12 win over Arkansas, Jones-Moore came off the bench to rush for 68 yards on 11 carries, includ-ing a 27-yard run and an 11-yard TD run that gave UT a 16-7 lead.

(10) BIG SHOES TO FILL Toledo returns a long list of key players in 2015 but one area that has been re-stocked is the offensive line. All five starters on the 2014 offen-sive line were graduating seniors. The five starters for the Rockets’ are junior Storm Norton (left tackle), junior Paul Perschon (left guard), senior Ruben Carter (cen-ter), junior Mike Ebert (right guard) and sophomore Elijah Nkansah. Going into the 2015 season, the offensive line had three career starts, all by Norton last year. Carter

is a transfer from Florida State, where he played in 17 games in his Seminole career, but none as a starter. Toledo is one of only two FBS schools (along with Boston College) with five new starters on the offensive line. Early returns are looking good: Toledo gave up no sacks vs. Arkansas.

SORRY, THOSE DON’T COUNT Senior safety Chaz Whittaker grabbed a pair of interceptions in the first half against Stony Brook. Because the game was cancelled due to severe weather, those stats don’t count. Whittaker was the last Rocket to have two picks in one game. He turned the trick vs. Western Michigan in 2013.

HE’S BACK! Senior cornerback Cheatham Nor-rils is back in the starting lineup after missing the 2014 season due to an illness that left him hospitalized for weeks in the preseason. Norrils, a 2012 third-team All-MAC selection, said he only returned to full strength over the summer. His teammates voted to name him one of four team captains this sea-son. Norrils was credited with one pass deflection vs. Stony Brook on the

game’s first play from scrimmage. He came back and had a huge game vs. Arkansas, recording eight tackles and three pass breakups, includ-ing two in the Razorbacks’ final drive.

RUSSELL IS MR. CONSISTENCY Senior Alonzo Russell has caught at least one pass in every game in his UT career—a streak of 39 consecutive games. That streak is second in the na-tion and tied for third all-time at UT. The all-time Rocket record is 49 games by Steve Odom from 2003-06. Russell has also caught at least 50 passes in each of his three seasons as a Rocket (56-59-51), earning third-team All-MAC each time. BILETNIKOFF BROTHERS Toledo has a pair of All-MAC wide receivers who are both on the of-ficial watch list for the 2015 Bilet-nikoff Award. Junior Corey Jones led the Rock-ets 68 receptions in 2014, earning second-team all-league honors. Se-nior Alonzo Russell was second on the team with 51 catches and the team leader with eight TD grabs. Jones caught eight passes for 61 yards vs. Arkansas, while Russell had one reception for 32 yards.

Division and the 2015 Marathon MAC Championship Game in voting by members of the league’s media con-tingent. The Rockets received 11 first-place votes and a total of 121 points in the annual poll, just one point ahead of second-place Western Michigan, which had eight first-place votes. Defending MAC West champion Northern Illinois (113 points) was picked third, with Ball State (66), Central Michigan (56) and Eastern Michigan (28) rounding out the West. Bowling Green was picked to repeat as MAC East Division champion, with Ohio and Akron tied for second place. The MAC coaches conducted their own poll and came out with some dif-ferent results. NIU was picked to finish first in the West Division, with Toledo in second and WMU in third. Bowling Green was picked by the MAC coaches to win the East.

2015 CAPTAINS The Rockets voted on their 2015 captains and selected four seniors to lead the team: quarterback Phillip Ely, cornerback Cheatham Norrils, defen-sive end Trent Voss and tight end Alex Zmolik.

GETTING OFF ON THE RIGHT FOOT Toledo has two new kickers, freshman Jameson Vest, a QB/PK from Peachtree City, GA, and Josh Rode, a junior transfer from Findlay. In the Arkansas game, Vest con-nected on a 38-yard field goal but had a 26-yarder blocked. Brode handled the kickoffs, averaging 64.6 yards per boot. Rode was a kicker at Findley in 2012 and 2013 before transferring to UT. He spent last season working in the Rockets’ football equipment room. Both players have big kicking shoes to fill. Former Rocket Jeremiah Detmer was a three-time All-MAC kicker who was the all-time leader in field-goal per-centage (65-77/84.4%) for both Toledo and Mid-American Conference.

KAREEM THE DREAM Junior running back Kareem Hunthad an outstanding sophomore cam-paign, despite missing three full games and half of two others to injuries. Here are the highlights: • Hunt finished the 2014 season with 1,631 yards rushing, 10th-most in the country. It was also the second-most in UT history and the most ever by a sophomore. Wasean Tait is UT’s all-time leader with 2,090 yards in 1995. • Hunt also ranked second nationally in yards per attempt (8.0) and third in yards per game (163.1). Hunt has now rushed for 2,497 yards, ranking ninth all-time at UT in just two seasons. • Hunt’s 271 yards rushing vs. Ar-kansas State in the GoDaddy Bowl is the fourth-highest in UT history. His 265 yards rushing vs. BGSU on Nov. 19 ranks fifth. • Hunt has rushed for over 100 yards in each of his last 11 games, including two in which he did not play in the sec-ond half.

HUNT IN THE GODADDY BOWL Hunt set career highs in rushing (271 yards), touchdowns (5) and rush-ing attempts (32) in Toledo’s 63-44 victory over Arkansas State in the 2015 GoDaddy Bowl. Hunt’s 271 yards also set the GoDaddy Bowl record. He was named to the Associated Press’ All-Bowl Team. Hunt scored five rushing touch-downs, cashing in from four, 44, 29, six and one yard out. That tied the school record for touchdowns set by five play-ers, most recently Eric Page in 2011.

The last Rocket to rush for five TDs was Joe Schwartz vs. Kent State in 1971. It also tied the Mid-American Conference record held by 10 other players. Hunt’s five TDs set the GoDaddy Bowl record and tied the all-time bowl record set by two other players, most

recently Oklahoma State’s Barry Sanders in the 1988 Holiday Bowl.

You would be hard-pressed to find someone more passionate about his work than Matt Campbell. Campbell, in his fourth season as the head football coach at the University of Toledo, describes himself this way. “Relentless,” said Campbell. “Going from good to great requires relentless-ness. I want to be relentless in the pur-suit of greatness, and I want my staff and players to be the same way.” Campbell’s pursuit of greatness has vaulted him up the coaching lad-der quickly. He was named Toledo head coach on Dec. 12, 2011, becoming the youngest head coach in the NCAA Divi-sion I FBS at the time by more than three years. Today, at age 35, he is still the sec-ond-youngest head coach in the FBS. But age has no bearing on what Campbell has accomplished thus far in his career, and it certainly is not a factor on where he plans to lead the UT program. Just 16 days after taking over the helm in 2011, Campbell led his Rockets to a 42-41 victory over Air Force in the Mili-tary Bowl. He followed that up with winning seasons in 2012, 2013 and 2014 including a berth in the 2012 Famous Idaho Potato Bowl and a 63-44 victory over Arkansas State in the 2015 GoDaddy Bowl. These are just further chapters in his meteoric rise in the coaching world that began just a little more than a decade ago. When the subject of the most successful young coaches in the nation comes up, Campbell’s name is almost always included in the conversation.

GROWING UP IN FOOTBALL COUNTRY Campbell’s passion for football was nurtured in the heart of football country. He was born in Massillon, OH, a football hotbed famous for presenting every male baby with a min-

iature football at the hospital nursery. His father, Rick, was the football coach at Massillon Jackson High School, a rival to Campbell’s own high school, Massil-lon Perry. An outstanding high school football player, Campbell chose to play college football at Mount Union, just a short drive from his home. Campbell thrived at Mount Union un-der legendary coach Larry Kehres, twice earning first-team All-America and Ohio Athletic Conference defensive lineman of the year honors. Better still, Camp-bell was a vital part of three consecutive NCAA Division III national titles (2000, 2001, 2002). During his career at Mount Union, he had 207 tackles, 49 tackles for loss and 22 sacks. Campbell also ex-celled in the classroom, earning CoSIDA Academic All-America honors and grad-uating in 2002.

LEARNING THE COACHING ROPES Campbell began his coaching career as the offensive graduate assistant at Bowling Green in 2003 and 2004, work-ing with the tight ends for teams that won the 2003 Motor City Bowl and 2004 GMAC Bowl. He then returned to his alma mater for the 2005 season as offensive coordinator/offensive line coach. In his two seasons leading the Mount Union offense, Campbell and the Purple Raiders went 29-1 and won two NCAA Division III national titles. In those two seasons at Mount Union, Campbell mentored six All-Americans on of-fense, including future NFL star wide receiver Pierre Garcon. Campbell returned to Bowling Green as an assistant coach for two seasons, one as the offensive line coach (2007) and one as the offensive line coach/running game coordina-tor (2008). The 2007 Falcons went 8-5 and earned a trip to the GMAC Bowl.

FIRING UP THE ROCKET OFFENSE Campbell’s next move in the coaching ranks turned out to be pivotal, joining the Rocket staff as the offensive coordinator under head coach Tim Beckman in 2009. At age 29, Campbell was the second-youngest coordinator in the NCAA Division I FBS, but that didn’t prevent him from mold-ing the Rockets into one of the highest scoring offenses in the country. Beckman and Campbell had coached together for one season at Bowling Green in 2004 when Beckman was an assistant and Campbell was a graduate assistant. Their reuni-fication at Toledo re-energized the Rocket offense. Toledo’s offense was consistently among the most productive in the nation in Campbell’s three seasons as offensive coordinator. In his first season with the Rockets, Campbell helped guide UT to the No. 16-ranked offense in the country (437.9 yards per game), despite losing senior quarterback Aaron Opelt to injury midway through the season. Toledo’s offen-sive resurgence continued in 2010, a season that saw the Rockets go 8-5 and make their first bowl appearance in five years. The Rockets ranked third in the Mid-American Confer-ence in both scoring and total offense. In 2011, Toledo (9-4, 7-1 MAC) ranked eighth nationally and first in the MAC in scoring offense (42.2), and 10th in the country and first in the MAC in total offense (481.3). Campbell earned national attention for his recruiting, as well. Rivals.com named him a “top recruiter” in 2011. Camp-bell was one of nine coaches from non-auto-matic qualifying schools in the BCS to make the list, and the only one from the Mid-American Conference. Toledo’s 2010, 2011 and 2012 re-cruiting classes were ranked either No. 1 or No. 2 in the MAC by virtually every scouting service.

TAKING OVER THE HELM Campbell‘s career took a dramatic turn at the end of the 2011 regular season when Beck-man left the program to take the head coach-ing position at Illinois. UT Athletic Director Mike O’Brien immediately named Campbell the in-terim head coach. Three days later, O’Brien de-cided to remove the interim label, and Camp-bell was introduced as Toledo’s permanent head coach with the Military Bowl looming in just 16 days.

For the Military Bowl matchup vs. Air Force, Campbell chose to remain in his normal offensive co-ordinator position in the coaches’ box and let associ-ate head coach Louis Ayeni handle the on-field duties. The strategy worked out perfectly, as the Rockets won, 42-41.

BUILDING CHAMPIONS AT TOLEDO Campbell’s first full sea-son as head coach of the Rockets was quite an excit-ing ride. Following an over-time loss at Arizona in the

season opener, Toledo reeled off eight consecutive victories, including a 29-23 triumph over then-No. 18 Cincinnati. Close conference losses to Ball State and Northern Illinois shot down the Rockets’ dreams of a MAC Championship title, but UT won nine regular-season games and earned a berth into the 2012 Famous Idaho Potato Bowl vs. Utah State. It was Toledo’s third straight winning season and third consecutive bowl appearance. In Year No. 2 under Campbell, the Rockets finished with a 7-5 mark, 5-3 in league play. Toledo navigated one of its toughest non-conference schedules ever, losing road con-tests at then-No. 10 Florida and eventual SEC East champion Missouri to start off the season. But the Rockets then won seven of the next eight games, including a 28-25 triumph over arch-rival and eventual MAC champion Bowling Green. In 2014, the Rockets went 9-4 and earned a share of the MAC West Division title with a 7-1 league mark. The Rockets

capped another successful season with a re-sounding 63-44 victory over Arkansas State in the GoDaddy Bowl on Jan. 4.

FAMILY MAN Campbell comes from a football fam-ily that placed a high value on education. His father, Rick, coached at Jackson High School in Massillon, OH, and later served as principal there. Campbell’s mother, Elaine, is a grant writer for Mercy Medical Hospital in Canton, OH. Campbell and his wife Erica have two girls, Katelyn (6) and Isabella (5), and a son, Rudy (2).

Campbell took the ALS ice-bucket challenge in style last summer.

Matt Campbell’s winning percentage of 66.7% (26-13) ranks first all-time at Toledo for coaches with at least three years at the UT helm.

LITTLE ROCK, AR - Senior Phiilip Ely threw for 237 yards and Toledo’s defense shut down Arkansas in the red zone as the Rockets upset the No. 18 Razorbacks, 16-12, at War Memorial Stadium. The victory was Toledo’s first win over an SEC team in four tries and the first time the Rockets de-feated a Top 25 non-conference opponent on the road. Toledo’s defense was stellar throughout the game. The Rockets held Arkansas to just 103 yards rushing on 31 attempts. Arkansas quarterback Brandon Allen did throw for 412 yards, but the Razorbacks came away with just three points in four visits to the red zone in the second half. Jaylen Coleman led the defense with a career-high 13 tackles. Cheatham Norrils notched three pass breakups, including two in Arkan-sas’ final two possessions. DeJuan Rogers registered a career-best 11 tack-les and an interception in the end zone that halted a Razorback drive in the third quarter. Ely completed 21-of-38 passes and consistently converted third-down passes. Damion Jones-Moore led the rushing attack with 68 yards and one TD on 11 carries. The outcome of the contest was not decided until the final play. With just one second remaining, Allen fired a pass from the 16-yard line into the end zone to Keon Hatcher that sailed over his head, igniting a celebration on the Toledo sideline. Arkansas’ final possession came after Toledo took an intentional safe-ty on fourth-and-four from its own 14-yard line. The Rockets then kicked off and the Razorbacks took possession on their own 32-yard line with 52 seconds left. Allen completed three passes to drive Arkansas down to UT’s 16-yard line but could not get the Hogs into the end zone. The Rockets struck first in the contest, scoring on a five-yard touch-down reception by Corey Jones from Ely on UT’s second drive of the game. The Rockets gambled and went for two points, but Cody Thompson’s pass was intercepted, giving Toledo a 6-0 lead. Toledo had a chance to extend the lead on its next drive early in the second quarter but Jameson Vest’s 26-yard field goal attempt was blocked. Arkansas took advantage, driving 88 yards in eight plays to take a 7-6 lead with 7:53 to play in the half. Collins finished the drive with a 21-yard touchdown run down the left sideline. Toledo regained the lead on a 38-yard field goal with 1:06 left in the first half. On the ensuing drive, Arkansas moved as far as the Toledo 44-yard line but time ran out to end the half. Following Rogers’ pick in the end zone, Toledo responded with a 10-play, 80-yard drive to extend its lead to 16-7 on Jones-Moore’s 11-yard scoring run off left tackle with 5:09 to play in third quarter. Arkansas answered with a 21-play drive but had to settle for a field goal when Rogers and Rolan Milligan wrapped up Alex Collins for a loss on third down. Cole Hedlund’s 25-yard kick cut the lead 16-10 with 9:30 to play. Following a Toledo punt, Arkansas took over on its own 28-yard line and moved the ball to the Toledo four-yard line with just over three min-utes to play. A costly holding penalty ensued the Razorbacks ended up turning the ball over on downs. The Rockets ran the ball three times, moving the ball to the 14-yard line and also draining Arkansas’ final two timeouts. Coach Matt Campbell elected to take the intentional safety, making the score 16-12 with 52 sec-onds left.

ROCKET ROUNDUP: Toledo is 1-3 vs. teams from SEC with two losses to Missouri and one to Florida...UT’s last victory over a Top 25 team was a 29-23 win over No. 18 Cincinnati in the Glass Bowl in 2012...The highest ranked team defeated by Toledo is No. 9 Pittsburgh in 2003...The win was UT’s first over a “Power Five” conference since a 31-20 win over Purdue in 2010...To-ledo is now 8-14 vs. teams ranked in the Top 25...Marc Remy made his first career start at running back...Zach Quinn blocked a punt in the first quar-ter that led to Toledo’s first touchdown. It was Toledo’s first blocked punt since 2011 vs. Ohio State, a streak of 49 games without a block.
