2015 Season Highlights Capital Improvements Each season the Giants continue to make enhancements to AT&T Park to enhance the ballpark experience for our fans. The Yard at Mission Rock: The Yard at Mission Rock is a pop-up shipping container village that serves as a gathering place for those who live and work in the South Beach and Mission Bay neighborhoods. It features popular local tenants Anchor Brewing, Peet’s Coffee, SFMade, The North Face, Off the Grid and The Whole Beast and is supported by Bank of America. It is open year round, seven days per week, and is located on a small parcel of Giants Parking Lot A, at the corner of 3 rd St. and Terry Francois Blvd. The pop- up village is constructed out of 13 recycled shipping containers that were deemed no longer seaworthy. These containers now serve as community gathering spots and house local food and drink establishments, pop-up shops and public open space. For daily hours and events please visit www.theyardsf.com. In addition to the permanent establishments, there will be weekly and monthly community and cultural events, from workout classes to cooking demonstrations. There will be a Sunday morning farmers market to bring fresh produce to the neighborhood, and collaborations with local arts organizations to enhance The Yard in unique ways. The Yard will also give surrounding neighbors the opportunity to experience the future Mission Rock neighborhood on a smaller scale. Nestled between the maturing South Beach neighborhood and the emerging Mission Bay neighborhood, the Mission Rock district will be an exciting, new, common ground for San Franciscans. Mission Rock will feature a spectacular waterfront park, a diverse mix-use neighborhood that includes hundreds of new rental housing units, offices and homegrown retailers grouped along a network of green streets, public plazas and promenades.

Capital Improvements

Each season the Giants continue to make enhancements to AT&T Park to enhance the ballpark experience

for our fans.

The Yard at Mission Rock: The Yard at Mission Rock is a pop-up shipping container village that serves as a

gathering place for those who live and work in the South Beach and Mission Bay neighborhoods. It features

popular local tenants Anchor Brewing, Peet’s Coffee, SFMade, The North Face, Off the Grid and The

Whole Beast and is supported by Bank of America. It is open year round, seven days per week, and is

located on a small parcel of Giants Parking Lot A, at the corner of 3rd St. and Terry Francois Blvd. The pop-

up village is constructed out of 13 recycled shipping containers that were deemed no longer seaworthy.

These containers now serve as community gathering spots and house local food and drink establishments,

pop-up shops and public open space. For daily hours and events please visit www.theyardsf.com. In

addition to the permanent establishments, there will be weekly and monthly community and cultural

events, from workout classes to cooking demonstrations. There will be a Sunday morning farmers market

to bring fresh produce to the neighborhood, and collaborations with local arts organizations to enhance

The Yard in unique ways. The Yard will also give surrounding neighbors the opportunity to experience the

future Mission Rock neighborhood on a smaller scale. Nestled between the maturing South Beach

neighborhood and the emerging Mission Bay neighborhood, the Mission Rock district will be an exciting,

new, common ground for San Franciscans. Mission Rock will feature a spectacular waterfront park, a

diverse mix-use neighborhood that includes hundreds of new rental housing units, offices and homegrown

retailers grouped along a network of green streets, public plazas and promenades.

Lower Centerfield Concessions: Located inside the Marina Gate and behind centerfield and The Garden

fans will find newly built, permanent concession stands, creating a lower centerfield food court in this

second phase of changes to the area. The concessions will feature Slice House serving New York style

cheese and pepperoni pizza from 11-time World Champion Pizza Champ Tony Gemignani; a new Doggie

Diner Grill with a glass enclosed grill and a Gilroy Garlic Fries stand.

The Giants Home Clubhouse: After 15 years, the team’s Clubhouse has been completely renovated to

create a more functional area for the players, coaches and media. The players’ lockers were redesigned,

providing for more open floor space in the middle of the clubhouse where media gather, and

reconfigurations were made resulting in a larger dining room and kitchen area.

Technology

Centerfield LED Display: This new LED video board replaces the former AT&T Tri-Vision display directly

beneath the Mitsubishi DiamondVision scoreboard. This board will display scoreboard messages, birthday

greetings, announcements, fan features and other game related content. It is 38’ wide x 13’ high, has a

20mm pixel pitch and a total of 110,592 pixels.

Pace-of-Play Initiative/Clocks: In MLB’s efforts to increase the speed of the game, fans will notice two new

clocks. One is located in centerfield beneath the “Text to Security” sign adjacent to the DiamondVision. It

is 8’ wide x 4’ high. The other pace-of-play clock is located behind home plate mounted on the fascia below

Suite 28. It is 2’2” wide x 1’ high.

Wireless Upgrades: T-Mobile has joined the ballpark’s AT&T Distributed Antenna System (DAS) brining all

four major cellular carriers (AT&T, Verizon, Sprint & T-Mobile) to now leverage our “neutral host” DAS to

provide outstanding 4G/LTE service to fans at AT&T Park.

VISA/Giants – Leaders in Payment Innovation: During the 2014 World Series, AT&T Park and Kauffman

Stadium became the first professional sports facilities to use NFC technology for payment, with 114 readers

deployed by the Giants in partnership with MLB Advanced Media fans were able to use Apple Pay at a

variety of concession stands throughout the ballpark. During the 2015 season, the Giants in partnership

with Visa will encourage fans, especially those with Bank of America issued Visa cards, to use Apple Pay

where accepted throughout the ballpark.

Mobile Food Ordering Enhancements: The Giants debuted Mobile Food Ordering via the MLB.com At the

Ballpark app during the final homestand of the 2014 season, delivering an array of popular food items to

fans seated in the Field Club. In 2015, the Giants are expanding the mobile menu options available via the

new MLB.com Ballpark app and offering Tony Gemignani’s Slice House pizza pie delivery throughout the

ballpark, set to launch during the season. MLB.com Ballpark App: This newly renamed app was formerly called At the Ballpark. It is the official MLB.com ballpark mobile application, available for iPhone and Android smartphones. Fans can learn more at sfgiants.com/ballparkapp or text BALLPARK to 31826 to download the Ballpark app. Message and Data Rates may apply. The Ballpark App allows fans to:

o “Check in” when they arrive at AT&T Park to receive exclusive offers; o Find their favorite ballpark foods; o Order Tony Gemignani’s Slice House whole pizza pies to be delivered directly to their

seat (for fixed seats only – no SRO or suites); o Upgrade their seat; o Manage all their ticket needs, including season tickets; o List player walk-up music;

o Connect with the Giants social media accounts; o View game highlights and in-game replays; o Access Closed Captioning; o Text-to-Security; and o Much more to complement and personalize their AT&T Park experience.

Tickets

Ticketless Trend/My SFTIX: The Giants continue to move into a “Ticketless” world. Many fans would prefer

to manage their tickets exclusively from their computers and smart phones, while other fans still like the

feel of hard tickets. This season, tickets were delivered to season ticket members by both methods – they

were delivered electronically by populating members “My SFTIX” account and hard tickets were also sent

via federal express. In the near future, season tickets members may choose to opt for their preferred

delivery method. Season ticket members will see upgrades to their “My SFTIX” on line account manager.

From “My SFTIX” fans can reprint tickets, forward tickets, sell tickets on StubHub or donate tickets to a

great cause.

Consignback Program: The Giants have improved their consignback program, designed for season tickets

members who cannot use their tickets at the last minute. This program allows ticket members to return or

“consign” tickets to the team and, if they are sold, the fan receives a credit for future tickets.

MLB.com Ballpark app: Improvements were made to the MLB Ballpark app making it easier than ever to

access and manage tickets on a smart phone. Using their mobile device, fans can access tickets for entry,

purchase tickets, unlock special offers, and forward tickets to friends with new features like simple

forwards to your device’s address book and social media sharing. Also, within the app, our upgrade

program will expand beyond seat upgrades to include purchasing add-ons such as special events, in-game

promotions, and special VIP opportunities. Learn more at sfgiants.com/ballparkapp to get the MLB.com

Ballpark app.

Advertising Campaign

We are SF We are Giant

This tagline was made popular by Giants announcer Mike Krukow during his speech in front of City Hall

during the 2014 World Series Parade when he proclaimed, “We are SF, We are Giant.” This reference was

used to describe the Giants unique geographical and spiritual relationship with its fans. This multi media

campaign celebrates how the team and its fans inspire each other to achieve greatness. The campaign

celebrates the uniqueness of San Francisco and its residents; the special relationship baseball’s most

creative and passionate fans have with the unique characters of the Giants team; and the pride shared by

the community supporting a team that has brought home three championship trophies in five years.

“One Giant Moment” is an epic, :60 TV commercial that introduces the “We are SF We are Giant” marketing

campaign by dramatically presenting that one moment, back in October, that seemed to bring the entire

Bay Area together. Shot dramatically in black and white, the streets of San Francisco are mysteriously

empty as everyone is glued to a television, watching intently, as Madison Bumgarner pitches the final out of

Game Seven of the 2014 World Series in Kansas City. When the final out is recorded, the Bay Area explodes

into brilliant color as Giants fans and players celebrate the emergence of a dynasty.

The “We are SF We are Giant” campaign will run throughout the year with a series of soulful television and

radio commercials; short- and long-form videos featuring intimate off camera conversations with Giants

players and coaches; and slow motion photography of the most iconic Giants highlights. Buster Posey,

Hunter Pence, Madison Bumgarner and several other Giants reflect on the power and inspiration of the

fans; the players share their sweetest memories of Little League; and the unique relationship they share

with their teammates. The feeling is genuine, heartfelt and stylish. “We are SF We are Giant” is a

celebration of our team and our community and how together each inspires the other to achieve the

improbable.
