PRICE BOOK / ORDERING INFORMATION HOW TO ORDER

When ordering Permatron filters, the following information should be conveyed:

Give the complete BILL TO and SHIP TO address and any special labeling instructions. We request a PO NUMBER or the NAME of the individual

ordering.

Indicate QUANTITY, MODEL (see pricing pages for model names), and FILTER SIZE. Specify EXACT or NOMINAL.

Indicate filter thickness (i.e. 1/4”, 1/2”, 1”, or 2”). 1/2” models use 1” SPECIAL SIZE pricing

Indicate additional items you wish noted on the order, such as wire reinforcement or stainless steel frames, etc.

Unless otherwise specified, all small shipments will go ground service. Shipments required by truck are sent by the carrier of choice. FedEx

charges an additional $15.00 for overnight pickups.

To keep lead times short, custom orders must be revised or cancelled within 24 hours of ordering or you will incur materials and labor

costs.

Minimum order amount $50.00 may apply to custom products

Filters under 8” on either dimension will incur a $16.50 handcut charge

FILTER SIZING

Nominal Filters: All standard sizes and any custom whole number size requested, are undersized 1/2” less than the stated size.

Exact filters: FRACTIONAL SIZES cut to your specifications. All sizes containing a fraction are cut exact.

Thickness: Most filters are available in 1/8”, 1/4”, 1/2”, 1”, and 2”

ALL FILTERS ± 1/8” TOLERANCE. SPECIAL SIZES ARE NOT RETURNABLE.

FILTERS OVER 650 SQUARE INCHES—OVERSIZED FILTERS

We do not encourage filters over 650 square inches. The span is difficult to handle in normal use, requires a custom shipping carton, and is

easily damaged. We suggest using two or more filters rather than one large filter. All filters over 650 square inches will contain wire for support.

PERMATRON DOES NOT WARRANTY FILTERS OVER 1,000 SQUARE INCHES. Rigid filters over 650 square inches are subject to a

$6.00 per order special packaging charge. Rigid filters over 1,000 square inches are subject to a $12.00 per order special packaging charge.

FILTER RETURNS

A RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER from Permatron Customer Service Department is required.

Freight prepaid

Filters are returned unused, in resalable condition, within 90 days of purchase.

Standard sizes are subject to a 25% restocking fee.

MODEL U’s (1/8”) are all custom and NOT RETURNABLE.

SPECIAL SIZE filters are NOT RETURNABLE.

SHIPPING DAMAGE CLAIM PROCEDURE

ALL SHIPPING CLAIMS ARE HANDLED THROUGH THE ORIGINAL SHIPPER—PERMATRON

Notify Permatron of damage within 24 hours. We immediately replace damaged goods to avoid

delays while claim is processed.

Keep the merchandise in the original shipping carton, as inspection by the carrier is necessary.

Call 1-800-882-8012 for instructions on handling filters damaged in transit.

This procedure refers also to product drop shipped to your customer. Make sure your customers

know to contact you any time there is damage—this will enable you to keep track of what action is

taken.

Woven media is manufactured from non porous filament, which will not absorb or

retain moisture, and does not encourage the growth of mold, bacteria, viruses,

yeast or fungi. Containing our exclusive ACCUMULATOR CHAMBER®

construction, this filter is designed to work in applications requiring very low

resistance to airflow or high velocity air flow.

MODEL DURAFOAM™: Contains a combination of polypropylene and

urethane foam. Used for applications needing greater arrestance efficiency.

From the paper mills on the west coast to the textile mills on the east coast, Permatron manufactures the

original industrial workhorses of permanent, washable electrostatic air filtration. Utilizing the principle of a

unitized filter bank, our Models IN and HFA outperform and outlast metal mesh filters in many heavy-duty

industrial applications. The benefits of cleanability and long-term durability in high velocity systems or caustic

environments gives customers the least cost over useful life, energy efficiency and an environmentally

friendly solution to their air filtration needs.

Unique filter construction sets us apart from look alike competitors. Manufactured the same way since being

introduced in 1957, many of our filters feature an exclusive Accumulator Chamber® design. Engineered with

a three-stage filtration process, the air filter maintains a high dirt holding capacity without face loading or

restricting airflow requirements. Multiple filtration panels are encased within an outer steel frame building a

multi-stage filter bank. The first panel acts as a prefilter. When particulates build-up on the prefilter, airflow

causes them to break off and be swept into the Accumulator Chamber® where turbulence and electrostatic

forces cause agglomeration into even larger particulates. These particulates are too large to pass through the

second panel. The afterfilter attracts and holds smaller particulates that may have escaped the prefilter, or did

not respond to an electrostatic charge. The filter design is easy to clean and usually outlasts the system that

it’s been installed in.

From the simple to the complex, prototype to high volume production, we maintain a tradition of quality,

performance, and on-time delivery. Our manufacturing capabilities include a variety of metal forming,

fabricating and assembly processes. We produce air filters in a variety of materials including plastic, vinyl,

aluminum, galvanized, painted, and stainless steel. A diverse range of synthetic media is available, including

wool, polyester, polypropylene, rayon nylon, and other synthetic fibers and foams. Synthetic media substrates

can also be impregnated with finely ground coatings for odor/fume removing applications. Customized

filtration needs can be met by varying the densities, number of layers and types of media depending on

airflow restriction, efficiencies required and budget parameters. Expertise in filtration, assisting in product

design, and manufacture of product to precise specifications are what keep long-term customers coming back
