We’ve since grown into an international player, but design, quality control and even assembly of select models remain at our LEED-certified shop in Montreal. The Opus Fhast delivers the kind of blistering speed that has earned multiple Canadian XC championships and deep respect on the world cup circuit; you can see why. Sporting a highly aggressive geometry, our carbon 29er hardtail is light, stiff and legendarily tough. Using a calibrated mix of high tensile and high modulus carbon, the layup transfers all of your energy from the pedals to the trail. The wide bottom bracket and tapered head tube are rigid and light, giving you increased control and feedback, while the shaped seatstays and 27.2 seatpost smooth out the gnarliest trails.

We started with a race-inspired geometry designed around 27.5” wheels, and built both a carbon and an alloy frame that maximize speed and maneuverability. Look familiar? We actually borrowed frame technology from our race-proven Fhast and Avro bikes to ensure the Vox rides and performs like a purebred Opus. The Vox will also surprise you with its playful spirit. We bring the very same focus and passion to designing our kids’ bikes as we bring to every other Opus bike. Each delivers safety and fun, along with exceptional quality and value. You’ll find a size- and age-appropriate model for every budding cyclist. We begin by tailoring the frame geometry and component selection for an optimal fit from stand over height to stem and crank length. We then add features that ensure a simply great riding experience. That includes correct-reach hand brakes, safety headsets and training wheels. And we finish with the neighborhood’s coolest graphics and colors! Result? Parent-friendly bikes that kids really want to ride.

THE ABCs OF OPUS KIDS’ BIKES

We design and build Opus kids’ bikes on three founding principles:

A IS FOR ALUMINUM: Most other bike makers use steel frames and forks for their kids’ models. We prefer aluminum. Why? A lighter bike is easier for a kid to handle. It rides better, starts easier and, most important, it stops faster. Aluminum is also naturally corrosion-resistant, so it’s more durable. Parents appreciate that our bikes last longer.

B IS FOR BRAKES: Remember coaster brakes? When you got older, you learned that hand brakes had better stopping power. So why make today’s kids wait? The sooner they get used to hand brakes, the more years of safe riding they’ll have. Even our smallest bikes have them!

C IS FOR CONTROL: A lighter bike with powerful brakes is easier to control and therefore safer to ride. Plus our smaller kids’ bikes have a specially-designed headset that resists fork spin. This means even better control and a reduced risk of injury.

OPUS BICYClES WARRANTYOpus Bicycles warranties each new Opus aluminum bicycle frame against defects in materials and workmanship for its lifetime, with the exception of dual suspension MTB frames, which are limited to five years. Opus Bicycles warranties each new Opus carbon bicycle frame or carbon fork for five years against defects in materials and workmanship.

Opus Bicycles also warranties all original parts against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase. Paint and decals are warrantied for one year. This warranty is expressly limited to the repair or replacement of the defective frame, fork or part, at Opus’ discretion, and is the sole remedy provided for by the warranty or any implied warranty. The replacement or return policies are subject from time to time to modifications detailed on our website:

www.opusbike.com.

All Opus warranties apply to the original owner from the date of purchase and are not transferable. Claims under this warranty must be made through an authorized Opus dealer. Proof of purchase is required. A warranty registration card must have been completed and received by Opus Bicycles within ten days of the purchase date for a warranty claim to be processed.

The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, improper assembly or follow-up maintenance, or installation of parts or accessories not originally intended or compatible with the bicycle as sold or not made or sold by Opus Bicycles. The warranty does not apply to damage or failure due to accidents, misuse, abuse, neglect or any commercial or competitive use. Modification of the frame or components shall void this warranty. Opus Bicycles shall not be responsible or otherwise held liable for any direct, incidental or consequential damages.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so the above exclusion may not apply. Labor charges for parts changeovers are not covered by the warranty. This warranty gives the consumer specific legal rights, and those rights may vary from place to place. This warranty does not affect the statutory rights of the consumer. The English version of the warranty shall prevail.
