1.

New York Giants select Offensive Tackle Cedric Ogbuehi from Texas A&M

University.

The Giants enter Week 3 with the worst offensive line in

football. After giving Eli Manning an explosive playmaker in

Odell Beckham Jr last year, they can give him a premier

Offensive Tackle. That player is Texas A&M’s Cedric Ogbuehi.

Standing at 6’5’’ 300 pounds, Ogbuehi has the perfect size to

be a dominant OT in the NFL. He spent his freshman andsophomore years playing both guard spots, but moved to

Right Tackle last year. He did a great job blocking for

Manziel’s Aggies, and has taken over as Kenny Hill’s blindside

protector. He is a smart football player, and is incredibly

strong. He is a really good pass blocker and an outstanding

run blocker. He would be a great addition to the Giants’

Offensive Line.

2.

Washington Redskins select Defensive Lineman Leonard Williams from

The University of Southern California.

After getting a franchise Left Tackle and a franchise Quarterback

in the last 2 drafts, the Jaguars can finally shift their focus

towards the defensive side of the ball. Defensive Lineman

Leonard Williams may not be a better defensive line prospect

than Nebraska’s Defensive End Randy Gregory, but he’s justwhat Jacksonville needs. The Trojan is an outstanding athlete

who has seen time at both DT and DE. He is one of the top pass

rushers in College Football, posting 13 sacks and 26 tackles for

losses in his career at USC. He also shown that he can stop the

run extremely well, compliling 98 non-sack tackles in his career.

He was a 1st

 Team All-Pac-12 and a 1st

 Team All-American in 2013

and is looking good so far. He has been dealing with some minorinjuries, but there is no way you can deny the kid’s talent and his

knowledge of the game.

3.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers select Defensive Back Ifo-Ekpre Olomu from The

University of Oregon.

The Buccaneers were a middle of the pack team when it came to

pass defense in 2013. They also lost a Top-3 Cornerback in Darrelle

Revis. Even though the Bucs signed Alterraun Verner, they still

need another Defensive Back. And after the game against Atlanta,

it’s indisputable that secondary is their biggest need. Enter Ifo-

Ekpre Olomu from Oregon. Olomu might be a bit undersized at

5’10’’ 185, but he plays much, much bigger than that. He has and

unreal 192 career tackles in 32 games. He’s the best zone cover

corner in college. He is excellent at reading the eyes of the

Quarterback and has great hands. He has 8 career interceptions in

32 games with the Ducks. His speed is crazy and he’d fit like a glove

in Tampa Bay’s zone cover scheme. He would undoubtedly make

an immediate impact as a rookie.

4. Dallas Cowboys select Defensive End Randy Gregory from The University of

Nebraska

The Cowboys have the worst defense in professional football.

They do have a decent enough offense to get to the postseason,

except Tony Romo, but their defense is just atrocious. With the

#4 pick, they’ll select my highest rated defender, Defensive End

Randy Gregory out of Nebraska. At 6’6’’ 240, he is the premier

pass-rusher in college and has shown his great athleticism more

than a few times. He was a JUCO player that had 87 tackles and

9 sacks before transferring to Nebraska where he broke his leg in

2012. He returned in 2013 racking up 9.5 sacks and 16 tackles for

losses in 1 year as a Cornhusker. He also had a 33 yard pick-6

against San Diego State University. Although he’s only played

one year at the FBS level, but he is such a great Defensive End,

that he’s worth a top 5 selection. Much like Leonard Williams, he

has had some injuries this year, but nothing too crazy.

5. Oakland Raiders select Offensive Tackle Brandon Scherff from The

University of Iowa.

Offensive Tackle may not be the Raiders biggest need, but the

3rd

overall pick is definitely not one you want to reach with.

After getting some help on defense and getting what seems to

be a franchise Quarterback, the Raiders will make the safe pick

and select the Offensive Tackle out of Iowa, Brandon Scherff. At

6’5’’ 315, Scherff has the prefect size to play tackle in the NFL.

The big Left Tackle is the draft’s best run blocker, who is also

good at pass blocking. His play speed is phenomenal, as he has

been seen numerous times running downfield and blocking for

ball-carriers, similar to the 49ers’ Joe Staley. He is seen more

seen as a Right Tackle by NFL scouts and would really help a

Raiders offensive line that is hurt by the loss of Jared Veldeer.

He has also played Guard, which could be an option due to his

outstanding run-blocking. He had knee surgery, but played the

same week he had it, having a nice game versus school rival,

Iowa State University.

6. St. Louis Rams select Quarterback Marcus Mariota from The University of

Oregon.

The Rams lost Sam Bradford to another ACL injury to his left

knee this year, and are planning to search for a new signal caller

this spring. The best candidate for the job is Oregon’s golden boy

Marcus Mariota. Mariota is a player that has been in Heisman

consideration for a few years now, and is also the best option

under-center in the 2015 Draft. He has a nice arm and makes

good decisions in the air. He is also very athletic. He moves

around in the pocket to extend plays, and can take off when he

needs to. The 2-time All-Pac-12 Quarterback is a smart football

player that has only 10 picks to 71 career TD passes and has

racked up over 7000 passing yards. He has also rushed for 1623

yards and 17 touchdowns in his career with the Ducks.

Page 8: 2015 Mock Draft Edition 3

7. Tennessee Titans select Outside Linebacker Shaq Thompson from The

University of Washington.

Call me crazy, but I believe in Jake Locker and that Tennessee

will stay the course with him under-center. That being said, the

Titans need some help on the opposite side of the football. The

Washington product fits the mold of a defensive freak. He is a

wildcard, being good enough to cover as a linebacker, rush the

Quarterback, and is fast enough to even play safety. He is best

seen as an Outside Linebacker, however. He is very strong and is

lightning quick. He has shown his speed by playing runningback

and having a fumble recovery touchdown for 52 yards and just

burning everyone in the process. He also had a 33 years pick-six

in the same game. He has 174 career tackles, 12.5 tackles for

losses, 3.5 sacks, and 5 interceptions in 16 career games with the

Huskies. Realistically, he has the potential to be one of the best

Outside Linebackers in football.

8. Cleveland Browns select Amari Cooper from The University of Alabama.

With Josh Gordon getting suspended on a yearly basis, and just

not having another reliable pass-catcher, the Browns really need

another option at wide receiver. There to fill this need is

Alabama’s pride and joy Amari Cooper. The junior wideout has

137 career receptions for 2190 yards and 17 trips to the

endzone. He is an excellent route-runner and has the perfectcombination of speed and catching ability to make any Offensive

Coordinator fall in love with him. If Cleveland can pair him with

franchise signal-caller Johnny Football, they could very easily

have an AJ Green-Andy Dalton type connection.

9. Washington Redskins select Defensive Back Marcus Peters from The

University of Washington.

The Redskins’ defense is bad, and their secondary is just

atrocious. They really need a corner, after posting one oif thegame’s worst pass defenses. Their best option at #9 is the

Defensive Back out of Washington. Peters is 6’1’’190, and is an

extremely physical player. However, he is a very emotional

player that has a quick temper. This was shown by him arguing

with his coaches on the sidelines. He just needs to learn to not

do stupid things like that, and being around vets would help him

learn that. His talent is undeniable, compiling 108 tackles and 8interceptions as a Husky.

Page 11: 2015 Mock Draft Edition 3

10. Houston Texans select Quarterback Jameis Winston from Florida State

University.

After pairing Jadaveon Clowney with JJ Watt to make one of thescariest defensive tandems in the NFL, the Texans can select

their franchise Quarterback. Tom Savage is never going to be an

NFL starter and neither Ryan Mallet nor Ryan Fitzpatrick are long

term solutions at the position. Heisman winner Jameis Winston

will be selected 10th

despite his off-field issues. He was

outstanding in his Heisman campaign and looks to be a great

selection here. Andre Johnson is only going to be around somuch longer, so they need to get a Quarterback while the

Texans have Johnson and Hopkins to receive and Foster to carry

the rock. If you pair them with Winston and that Houston

defense, you’ve got something real good cooking in Texas.

Page 12: 2015 Mock Draft Edition 3

11. Minnesota Vikings select Defensive Back PJ Williams from Florida State

University.

The Vikings’ glaring need is secondary help, especially after

having the 31st

ranked pass defense last year, and that’s because

their secondary got destroyed game after game. They really

need help at the Cornerback position, and with the #11 pick, the

Vikes find their guy in Florida State’s PJ Williams. Standing at

6’0’’ 195, he has a good frame to play corner in the NFL, and is

an outstanding athlete. With the Seminoles, he has 3

interceptions and 51 tackles. He does play a lot of zonecoverage, and is good at reading the eyes of the receiver.

Page 13: 2015 Mock Draft Edition 3

12. New York Jets select Wide Receiver Ty Montgomery from Stanford

University.

With the Jets committed to Geno Smith as their Quarterback,

they need to give him another weapon. The Jets went out and

signed superstar Wide Receiver Eric Decker and drafted Tight

End Jace Amaro. However, they need a real #2 after cutting

Santonio Holmes. Their best option at #12 is Ty Montgomery.

The Cardinal’s senior Wideout hauled in 61 catches for 953 yards

and 10 touchdowns in his junior campaign, while having 1091

return yards and 2 kick/punt return touchdowns. To go with his

quickness, Montgomery stands at 6’2’’ 220 allowing him to be

more physical and harder to cover by corners. He was a

Consensus All-American in 2013 for his contributions on special

teams.

Page 14: 2015 Mock Draft Edition 3

13. Kansas City Chiefs select Defensive Back Trae Waynes from Michigan State

University.

After cutting Pro-Bowler Brandon Flowers in Training Camp, the

Chiefs need a new member of the secondary. There to fill that

void is the physical Corner out of MSU. Waynes stands at 6’1’’,

but he’s only 182 pounds, so teams would like him to add

weight. Besides that he works well in zone or man coverage and

loves to hit receivers. In his junior campaign, he racked up 50

tackles, 3 interceptions, and 5 more passes defended. Much like

his former teammate Darqueze Dennard, drafted last year in the

first round, he likes to play rough and loves to play hard. He

would also be a nice change of direction in Kansas City’s

secondary from Brandon Flowers.

Page 15: 2015 Mock Draft Edition 3

14. Chicago Bears select Strong Safety Landon Collins from the University of

Alabama.

The Bears’ defense is getting old and is very slow. They drafted a

top playmaker at Cornerback in Kyle Fuller last year, and can get

the top playmaker at Safety this year. The junior from

Tuscaloosa has 110 career tackles, 2 interceptions, 6 passes

defended, and 2 forced fumbles. He is good at zone coverage,

but will bat down more balls than he’ll intercept. He is a player

who loves to unleash the hit stick upon players who have the

football. He is also effective at jumping snaps as he has 4 tackles

for losses in his time at Alabama. Having what looks to be the

next great Corner and Safety, the Bears’ defense looks to be

heading in the right direction to rebuild their defense.

15. Pittsburgh Steelers select Defensive Back Alex Carter from Stanford

University.

With Ike Taylor turning 34 this year, the Steelers need to look

into drafting his replacement. Stanford’s Alex Carter looks to be

just what the Steelers need. Carter plays in the pass oriented

Pac-12, much like how the AFC North is. In his career, he has 9

passes deflections. However, he only has one interception in 3

years. He does not have good hands, but can read the

Quarterback’s eyes really well and knows where to be. He is a

smart guy, much like most Stanford players, and has great size at

6’0’’ 202. He is a real good tackler as he has 112 career tackles

and 4 forced fumbles. He would be a player who can cover well,

but won’t get you 4-5 picks every year.

17. Miami Dolphins select Inside Linebacker Denzel Perryman from The

University of Miami.

With more than a few holes on both sides of the ball, the

Dolphins need a Middle Linebacker to take control of their

defense. With the 17

th

pick, they’ll take the local kid DenzelPerryman from The U. At only 6’0’’, there have been questions

about his height, but he is big enough to play ILB at 242 pounds.

With the Hurricanes, he’s had 180 tackles, with 17.5 of them

being for losses, one interception, with another 6 passes

defended, and 4 forced fumbles. The questions about his

conditioning are a little off, considering the Hurricane defense

has spent a lot more time on the field than off it. All things said,

Perryman looks like a stud on the field that can impact the

Dolphins defense for a long time.

Page 19: 2015 Mock Draft Edition 3

18. Arizona Cardinals select Quarterback Brett Hundley from The

University of California, Los Angeles.

With Carson Palmer play in just well enough to miss the playoffs,

the Cardinals will be looking for his successor. There to take his

position is star UCLA signal caller Brett Hundley. Hundley has a

good enough arm to fit with Arizona’s offense and has the

athleticism to move in the pocket while playing with the

Cardinals’ shoddy offensive line. I was surorised that Arizona

didn’t pick a Quarterback last year when they had pick of the

litter, but now is their chance to select a franchise player under-

center. The junior has played with one of the worst offensive

lines in the Top-25, but has had some terrible performances. For

example, he threw 3 interceptions against Cal, one of the worst

offenses in the FBS, and completed 19 passes for 64 yards

against Oregon. In his career, he has 7497 yards and 56 through

the air, and 1177 yards with 21 touchdowns on the ground. He is

an outstanding athlete and would be a nice change of style in

Arizona’s offense.

19. Carolina Panthers select Offensive Tackle Andrus Peat from Stanford

University.

After losing many players last year, including franchise Left

Tackle Jordan Gross last year, the Panthers need a new blindside

protector for Cam Newton. Last year they added a playmaker at

Wideout in Kelvin Benjamin, and this year, and now they can

draft an Offensive Lineman. Their best option is the 2nd

-Team

All-Pac-12 Offensive Tackle Andrus Peat. He is one of the top

Offensive Lineman prospects in this year’s draft, with good

merit. As a 3 year starter, Peat has seen action at every

Offensive Line spot, except Center. However, he is best seen as a

Left Tackle. He has been an outstanding pass blocker for Kevin

Hogan, and has also been a great run blocker for Stanford’s

bunch of Running Backs. Peat could very easily take Gross’s spot

as the Panthers’ franchise Left Tackle for many years

Page 21: 2015 Mock Draft Edition 3

20. Baltimore Ravens select Running Back Todd Gurley from The University of

Georgia.

With Ray Rice out of the picture, the Ravens need a Tailback to

pair with Joe Flacco and help balance out the Ravens offense.

Todd Gurley is an extremely athletic ball-carrier from Georgia.

He is this years’ best Running Back prospect and an All-SEC team

member. He stands at 6’1’’ 236, but he has the speed of a

running back who weighs 200 pounds. He is a hard runner with

the swiftness to outrun anyone. He declined to enter last year’sdraft after posting a stellar 2012 campaign and following that

with a great 2013 season. In his 3 year career, he has 3260 total

yards from scrimmage and 37 total touchdowns. He is not only

the best runner in college football, but he may also be the best

receiving back. He will be the first Halfback selected in the 1st

Round since David Wilson in 2013, and may be an All-Pro as a

rookie.

22. Detroit Lions select Defensive Back KeiVarae Russell from The University of

Notre Dame.

Sporting a good offense, the Lions should focus more on the

defensive side of the ball, especially the secondary. Notre

Dame’s prized corner KeiVarae Russell would be a good fit. At

5’11’’ 195, Russell has good size and skill. He plays man coverage

quite a bit, but also plays some zone, he does well at both. With

the Irish, he has 109 tackles, 3 picks, 12 passes defended, but

zero forced fumbles. He is good at reading offenses and can

cover anyone you put on him. He would be a big part of the

Lions’ secondary for many years and would help Detroit have a

legit secondary, which would have them be playoff contenders

as long as they have Megatron on offense.

Page 24: 2015 Mock Draft Edition 3

23. Green Bay Packers select Inside Linebacker Ramik Wilson from The

University of Georgia.

The Packers have many needs on the defensive side of the ball.

One of those needs is a Middle Linebacker to help fix their

terrible run defense. The Packers have a very tough time

stopping the run, especially quarterback runs/scrambles. A

player who can help fix that is the Georgia Bulldog’s athletic

Linebacker, Ramik Wilson. He makes tackle everywhere on the

field, and at 6’2’’ 237, he has good size. The senior Linebacker

has 143 tackles and 12 tackles for losses with Georgia. The

Packers need to get their defensive playbook up to the times,

and a good start is the selection of Ramik Wilson.

Page 25: 2015 Mock Draft Edition 3

24. Cincinnati Bengals select Outside Linebacker Vic Beasley from Clemson

University.

Needing some help with their Outside Linebacker situation, the

Bengals will take Vic Beasley, the pass-rushing Linebacker out of

Clemson. Standing at 6’3’’ 235, Beasley is a complete animal on

the football field. In his junior campaign, he had an incredible 13

sacks with an awe-inspiring 23 tackles for loss. That was

combined with 4 forced fumbles and 6 pass deflections. Over his

career, he has 23 sacks and 31 tackles for losses, 6 forced

fumbles, and 5 passes defended. His outstanding skill on the

field and extensive knowledge of the game can help the Cincy

defense stay in the top 10, and keep the Bengals atop the AFC

North for a long time.

25. San Diego Chargers select Wide Receiver Sammie Coates from Auburn

University.

The Chargers need another Wide Receiver to pair with 2013

Draft steal Keenan Allen. Auburn’s Sammie Coates fits their

desires. He stands at 6’2’’ 201 and plays at a high octane level.

He hauled in 49 receptions for 1029 yards, finishing 3rd

 in the

nation averaging 21.5 yards per catch. His speed has gotten

better with each passing year and he is an incredible jumper. He

doesn’t have the amount of career receptions you’d want by

now, but his talent is undeniable. If San Diego can have him,

Keenan Allen, Eddie Royal, and Antonio Gates (depending on

how long he sticks around) in an offense directed by Phillip

Rivers, you’re looking at a team that can challenge Denver year

after year.

Page 27: 2015 Mock Draft Edition 3

26. Indianapolis Colts select Running Back Melvin Gordon from The University of

Wisconsin.

The Colts need a real runner out of the backfield to help balance

their offense. Even after trading a first rounder for Trent

Richardson last year, the Colts still need a Running Back who can

gain a lot more yards than T-Rich did. Wisconsin’s star Tailback

Melvin Gordon is a good hard-nosed runner who has amassed

over 2500 yards and 17 scores. He would be a good addition as

the Colts try to get a run game going to take some pressure off

of Andrew Luck. However, he does not catch the ball a whole lot,

as he has 7 receptions in 3 years in Wisconsin. Indianapolis

would love to see him receive more, but as it stands, Gordon

would be a great edition to the Colts offense.

Page 28: 2015 Mock Draft Edition 3

27. New Orleans Saints select Inside Linebacker Erick Kendricks from The

University of California, Los Angeles.

After cutting longtime Linebacker Jonathan Vilma at the end of

last year, the Saints need a new Middle Linebacker who can

command their defense. There to take that spot is UCLA

superstar Eric Kendricks. Kendricks has great speed and is one of

the best pure tacklers in this draft. He has accounted for 369

tackles in just 29 career games in his career with the Bruins. In

the last 2 seasons alone, he has had 254 tackles, 2 picks, 4 sacks,10 tackles for losses and 2 blocked kicks. He would fit well with

the Saints and would be a great run stopper up the middle as the

Saints try and return to their defensive glory days.

28. Philadelphia Eagles select Defensive Back Ronald Darby from Florida State

University.

The Eagles top need is definitely a corner after posting the worst

pass defense in football a year ago. They picked a good pass

rusher last year, and can help their secondary this year. A good

start to the repair process is the Florida State Defensive Back,

Ronald Darby. He’s coming off a year in which he only played 2

games, but compiled 14 tackles and 2 interceptions. Standing at

5’11’ 195, he is good in zone coverage, but he still needs some

polishing. His speed is amazing. He I also a track runner who was

clocked at a 4.37 40 his senior year of high school, and he’s

gotten a lot faster. His tackling isn’t all too impressive, but you

don’t have to tackle to play corner in the NFL, i.e. Patrick

Peterson.

Page 30: 2015 Mock Draft Edition 3

29. San Francisco 49ers select Defensive End Dante Fowler from The University

of Florida.

The 49ers may need a Defensive End depending on how the Ray

McDonald situation goes, but as of now, they’ll select the 6’3

261 pound DE from the Gators. Fowler has 6 sacks, 18.5 tackles

for losses, and 3 forced fumbles while playing in the best division

in College Football. He has good quickness of the snap to get to

the Quarterback, and he has the vision to see the cuts of the ball

carrier. He also has the strength to throw away lineman and

make a tackle. Playing in San Francisco, he won’t have to be

rushed into the starting spot, but he can eventually take over

and be a force to be reckoned with. Much like Michael Sam,

Fowler has played Outside Linebacker, but is not seen as one in

today’s NFL.

31. Denver Broncos select Offensive Tackle La’el Collins from Louisiana State

Univeristy.

The Broncos don’t have a lot of needs, but another Offensive

Lineman would be a good idea. With Orlando Franklin’s contract

up at the end of the year, they can choose to not pay him, and

instead draft his replacement, or just replace another position. A

good player to fill in would be LSU’s La’el Collins. Collins has

played both Guard and Tackle, and is an outstanding run

blocker. He stands at 6’5’’ 321, and is improving his pass-

blocking. He was selected to the All-SEC 2nd

 team and was a

Freshman All-American. He could play Guard for Denver before

moving to Tackle, or he could just take over a Tackle spot. Either

way, he’d be a good part of that Offensive Line for years to

come.

32. Seattle Seahawks select Offensive Guard AJ Cann from The University of

South Carolina.

The Seahawks biggest need is and interior lineman. After getting

a new Right Tackle, Justin Britt, last year, they can select an

Offensive Guard. The best Guard in the draft is AJ Cann, and

that’s who Seattle will select. Cann is a polished run blocker who

needs to work on his pass blocking, but with Seattle, that might

not be a huge problem. With Running Backs like Marshwan

Lynch, Robert Turbin, and Christine Michael, and also a

Quarterback like Russell Wilson, the Hawks are a run-first team.

Cann has experience blocking for a team with a mobile QB who

hands off a lot and doesn’t take many chances, blocking for

Connor Shaw. He is a very smart football player, in fact, he’s

made the SEC Academic Fall Honor Roll 3 times while at South

Carolina. He would be an immediate upgrade at either Guard

spot and would help solidify the Seahawks offense Line andmake the Seattle offense its own independent force.
