ToursPlease join us for any of the following tours. No additional sign-up is required. All tours have departures throughout the day at the times and locations detailed below.

Campus Bus Tours9 a.m. – 4 p.m.Various Campus Bus Tour Stops (see page 6 for full list of stops)

If you are interested in seeing our campus from corner to corner, we recommend that you join us for a guided bus tour. Buses will leave regularly from the designated stops around campus and will provide you with an opportunity to become acquainted with Western’s surroundings. A campus tour guide is on each bus and is prepared to discuss specific faculty buildings, areas of research, on- and off-campus housing, recreation and athletic facilities, the City of London and more. You may stay on the bus for a complete tour, lasting approximately 45 minutes, or you can hop on and off the bus at your leisure and visit the faculty buildings, University Community Centre or any of the residences on our route that are open for the day. If you choose to get off the bus along the route, another bus will be around shortly to pick you up again. Buses can also drop you off near your parking lot at the end of the day.

Western has seven residences available to incoming first-year students. We have opened five of these residences for you to tour: Elgin Hall, Essex Hall, Medway-Sydenham Hall, Ontario Hall, and Saugeen- Maitland Hall. Our residents look forward to showing you around their residence homes. These tours will give you a chance to learn about the facilities and support staff, and the various programs that exist in each community. You will see student bedrooms, dining halls and washroom facilities for yourself. A residence tour will last approximately 20 minutes. ToursPlease join us for any of the following tours. No additional sign-up is required. All tours have departures throughout the day at the times and locations detailed below.

Campus Bus Tours9 a.m. – 4 p.m.Various Campus Bus Tour Stops (see page 6 for full list of stops)

If you are interested in seeing our campus from corner to corner, we recommend that you join us for a guided bus tour. Buses will leave regularly from the designated stops around campus and will provide you with an opportunity to become acquainted with Western’s surroundings. A campus tour guide is on each bus and is prepared to discuss specific faculty buildings, areas of research, on- and off-campus housing, recreation and athletic facilities, the City of London and more. You may stay on the bus for a complete tour, lasting approximately 45 minutes, or you can hop on and off the bus at your leisure and visit the faculty buildings, University Community Centre or any of the residences on our route that are open for the day. If you choose to get off the bus along the route, another bus will be around shortly to pick you up again. Buses can also drop you off near your parking lot at the end of the day.

Allow one of our knowledgeable student guides to take you on a walking tour of campus. Get a feeling of what life is really like as a Western student while taking in the beautiful campus landscape and buildings. Tours will depart from the tour booth in the Western Student Services lobby on the hour and the half hour.Each tour will last approximately 30 – 45 minutes.

Residence Tours9 a.m. – 4 p.m.Lobby, First-Year Residences

Western has seven residences available to incoming first-year students. We have opened five of these residences for you to tour: Elgin Hall, Essex Hall, Medway-Sydenham Hall, Ontario Hall, and Saugeen- Maitland Hall. Our residents look forward to showing you around their residence homes. These tours will give you a chance to learn about the facilities and support staff, and the various programs that exist in each community. You will see student bedrooms, dining halls and washroom facilities for yourself. A residence tour will last approximately 20 minutes. For additional information, please note the Housing session located in the Special Presentations section of this program guide (page 3).
