Premium Paint For Jigs & Lures

Drying TimeOur paint will dry to the touch in about 10 min-

utes. Allow a minimum of 2 hours

between coats to allow solvents to evaporate. An

increase in temperature will speed up the drying

time. Temperatures of 130̊F to 140̊F will allow

solvents to “flash” off and decrease the drying time

of lures.

open flame is present.

Base Coat ApplicationLure-Lac “Base White” functions as aprimer and is designed to cover in one coat.A base coat is highly recommended whenusing fluorescent colors due to their

translucent nature.

Top Coat ApplicationTop Coat ApplicationLure-Lac “Super Coat” is a chip-proofclear coat. It is used as a final coat overall Lure-Lac paints to enhance both

quality and durability.

Spinner Blades & SpoonsPlated or unplated spinner blades andspoons should be primed with a clearspoons should be primed with a clearprimer prior to painting. Apply clear

primer with an airbrush. We recommend using a Binks Wrenairbrush set at 30 psi. Allow 2-3 hoursdrying time between coats.

Airbrushing ApplicationWhen airbrushing with Lure-Lac paints,find the correct combination ofthinning levels, line pressure andenvironmental conditions.
