Strongest Integrated Aluminum Teeth -Our aluminum teeth not only lock you into your stance angles, but also add strength to our binding chassis, eliminating heel lift and plate flex. The high tensile strength of our teeth eliminates heel lift when riding. This offers more response through the board and binding interface as you ride.

Nylon Plastic Angle Locks- Nylon angle locks allow adjust-ability for stance angle selection, as well as a new concept in binding attachment. This new design allows the chassis to compress onto the angle lock, insuring a 100 percent connection to the board. Attached with our improved IPX chassis bolt with a large 20mm head, the angle lock, once tightened is a secure lock into the rider’s desired angle.

Anatomical Foot-bed with 2.5 Degrees Cant-Our anatomical foot-bed with 2.5 degrees of canting will offer the user a new feel when they ride. The canting allows the displacement of forces to stay in line with the riders ankles all the way to their hips, with no discomfort. Our foot-bed also features improved toe-lift and better control when on edge. The improved foot-bed also now comes with 6 degrees of built in heel lift that puts the rider into a better “attack” position with bent knees when edging or riding on rails.

Impact Displacing/Absorbing foam -This space age material is attached to the bottom of our foot bed in the IP and IPX Chassis. Our specially designed foam displaces high-energy impacts and reduces heel bruises and is featured on our lower to mid range product.

In the realm of our popular TAO skate, the SHIFT brings durability and our lively Hybrid Tech, but offers a slightly different outline for those preferring an Asymmetrical style. Aaron Reed and our newest star Andrew Fortenberry prefer the switch stability provided by the Asymmetrical Outline and chose to go sans Grind Base with their boards to make them a bit smoother when riding up the wake. The SHIFT was designed to be a bit more boat friendly than the TAO, but don’t let that fool you, as it’s still a Hybrid with Liquid Rail Sidewalls. Strong enough for those days at the park or winching the ledge, yet smooth as butter behind the tow vehicle, the SHIFT is our most versatile high end skate!

Twenty-two of the best riders in the world took to the water and put on a show for both the crowd on hand and anybody watching from home via the live stream broadcast - a first of its kind for BROstock. Giant double ups served up by the Liquid Force/Monster edition Axis A24, and driven by wake legend Gregg Necrason, were attacked during what became six hours of nonstop action. The top two riders from each heat advanced to the ten-man final. At the past couple BROstocks the riders have gone into the finals under the agreement to split the pot, rather than break it up into 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc. This time the riders agreed that first place should take home more of the purse - $10,000 in total - while the other nine would each get $3,000. This provided plenty of incentive for all ten of the finalists to go all out. Danny Harf was trying toeside double indy back rolls, Rathy tried switch wrapped heel side 1080’s, Rusty tried switch toe 10’s, and Harley went after double indy tantrums - just to name a few.

The day finished off with the awards ceremony. As was decided by the riders on Friday when the contest had to be changed due to the bad weather forecast for Saturday, the 10-man semifinal became the final round. Riders 10-2 would each take home $3,000 while first place would take home $10,000 (sacrificing $5,000 to spread the

wealth through the rest of the heat). In the end it came down to who could land the best trick in the waning light and nobody could match Harley Clifford, who rode second to last. He pulled off an unbelievably clean indy double tantrum to take home the top spot and the cash. Aaron Rathy grabbed second and Adam Fields got third to round out the podium. Of note is the fact that Fields has made the podium at BROstock in 2014 (3rd), 2011 (1st), and 2010 (2nd).

The awards ceremony marked an appropriate end to an unpredictable but unbelievably awesome weekend. BROstock 2014 was another amazing success, thanks of course to all the sponsors and riders involved - but mostly to all the fans who come out and make it what it is. Who’s ready for next year?
