The Test Permit/s shall be mailed to the DOST Regional Office for distribution to the applicant/s. In case the test permits are not received within the week before the examination day, the examinees may inquire from the DOST Regional Office and check the nearest designated test center a day before the examination.

ADDITIONAL INCENTIVES
After graduation, when the scholar has been hired by the Department of Education or a private high school, he/she shall a. be employed with a position equivalent to Special
Science Teacher I in the Philippine Science High School System
b. be given priority for job placement in a high school in the country
c. be given one-time relocation allowance should he/she be assigned in a place other than the permanent residence
d. be provided scholarship in any of the identified teacher education institutions for Science Education courses; and
e. be allowed to teach even without the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) eligibility but has to pass the LET within 5 years from date of hiring.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
An awardee a. shall comply with the terms of the Scholarship
Agreement to be entered into between himself/herself, parents or legal guardian and the DOST-SEI.
b. agree to have his/her name to included in the lists of scholars needing clearance from DOST-SEI forwarded to the appropriate government agency/ies for tracking purposes.
c. shall maintain the grade requirement of the scholarship.
d. upon completion of his/her course, shall teach in the sciences, mathematics and/or technology subject in a secondary high school in the country, preferably in his/her home region, on full-time basis for a minimum period equivalent to two (2)/three (3) years or the equivalent length of time he/she enjoyed the scholarship.
SELECTION CRITERIA
The awardees shall be selected on the basis of their performance in the 2015 Junior Level Science Scholarships Examination.
FINAL SELECTION
The list of awardees, after approval of the DOST Secretary, is final and unappealable. The scholarship grant shall be effective the First Semester of AY 2015-2016.

Fast-Tracked Science & Technology Scholarship Act of 2013
The Department of Science and Technology Science Education Institute announces the availability of scholarships to Junior Level college students who are enrolled in priority science and technology (S&T) courses and are willing to teach in the secondary schools in the Philippines.
CRITERIA OF ELIGIBILITY
An applicant must a. be a Filipino citizen; b. be a regular third year college student in an
identified priority S&T course in any of the SUC or private universities;
c. have a general weighted average of at least 83% (or its equivalent) in his/her first and second years in college;
d. qualify in the JLSS Examination; e. agree to teach in the secondary level basic
education in public or private high school as return of service (ROS);
f. agree to any of the approved ROS conditions; and g. agree to pay the amounts disbursed with
applicable interest, in case of failure to comply with the terms of the ROS.

The application form can be obtained at the Science
Education Institute, 2nd Level, Science Heritage Bldg.,
DOST Cmpd., General Santos Ave., Bicutan, Taguig
City, Metro Manila; DOST Regional Offices. It can be
downloaded at the website, www.sei.dost.gov.ph
and www.science-scholarships.ph.
Accomplished form can be filed at the Science
Education Institute, or DOST Regional Office nearest
to applicants school or home address.
