Our story is simple. We have combined our background in the kite industry with aeronautical engineering skills to transform our passion to a customer-dedicated kite company. IKON KITEBOARDING started in 2010 by three long-time friends who are passionate riders. This half-Australian half-French company is based in Perth, Western Australia. During the southern hemisphere summer, our R&D team is embracing the perfect conditions in Australia to design the ultimate kites for freeride and freestyle. When winter comes, we head for Wanaka, New Zealand to design the next snowkite generation.

Bringing a new generation every two years is essential for us. It gives us the time to sit back and think about what really matters. We have time to combine and analyse our valuable customer feedback and incorporate them into our new designs.The new generation 2 inflatable kites have been completely redesigned to give you everything you dreamed of. But we didnt stop there, we spent a lot of time designing the new CONVERT BAR 2 to give you the best feeling of bar control.

CHOOSE YOUR STYLE 3 in 1

This is the new system that equips the PEAK 2.Easy to change from freeride hangtime machine to a fast reactive wave kite, just move the larks head knot on the front line wingtip from one knot to the other.Make sure that both sides are changed at the same time and are on the same knot setting.

This setting mainly changes the bar pressure from light bar pressure to increased bar pressure.

Its now easy to change your style and adapt the kite to your needs in seconds.

CHOOSE THE TURNING SPEED

The wingtip of the kite is equipped with 3 attachment points.

Its easy to change from FAST turning for freeride and wave to SLOW turning for freestyle or if you are just getting into the sport.

The direct connection makes the setting adjustments fast and easy to do.

CHOOSE YOUR SAFETY

The PEAK 2 comes with 4 lines from the factory with the safety on one line only.

You can choose your safety by adjusting the Convert bar 2 to a 4 lines bar with safety on the 2 front lines.

You can also choose to use a 5th line by mounting the included 5th line on the bar.

Safety is important to us and we want you to be comfortable with the safety features of the kite. This is why everything comes included: 4 lines single front line safety, 4 lines both front lines safety or 5th Line.

The PEAK 2 03m has been specially developed for learning. The 03m is a one-strut kite with a super-round shape. Super stable, easy to relaunch, and bomb-proof construction makes the 03m a perfect kite for schools.

With a simple 15m 4 line bar, the PEAK will be the best tool to teach safety and get future riders into the sport.

The PEAK 2 03m uses the same material and construction as the rest of the range.

The BLIND 2 is the versatile freestyle machine. Coming out of the bag with a 4 line fixed bridle, the BLIND 2 programme is freestyle/freeride, mega loops, massive boost, and great unhook performance.

If you want to push your limits into freestyle/wakestyle, you will need to fit the BLIND 2 with the 5th line kit (included). Remove the fixed bridle, and connect the 5th line bar direct to the kite to get a reactive powerful unhook rocket.The BLIND 2 has been redesigned to be more rigid and more efficient in lighter wind.Using high quality material from TEIJIN, RONSTAN, and COUSIN, and combined with an engineered design, the reinforcements are positioned to deliver high quality products.

If you dont want to make a compromise between freeride/freestyle/wakestyle, the BLIND 2 is the kite for you.

The new BLIND 2 is set with a 4 line fixed bridle for freeride and freestyle but also comes with a 5th line kit. Remove the bridle, install the kite, and the BLIND 2 becomes the ultimate freestyle/wakestyle machine.

For a wave riding/freeriding session with megaloops, put the bridle system and CONVERT BAR 2 back to 4 lines and you are ready to go.
