tract Documents as required by the Instructions to Tenderers and do all or any part of what is set out or called for in the Specifications and Drawings on the terms and conditions and under the provisions set out or called for in the Contract Documents, for a total Contract Price equal to the total of the amounts set out in subclauses (i) to (iii) hereof and the amount described in subclause (iv) hereof, estimates of such total and of the Total HST being set out in sub clause (vi):

6. (2) Contract Price referred to in subclause (1) hereof shall be the arithmetic sum of:

Revised – Addendum 1 18. GENERAL CONSTRUCTION SCHEDULE RESTRICTIONS

(1) For the general information of Tenderers, a schedule of Event Dates for the various buildings at Exhibition Place has been included as Section II of the Tender Package and Tenderers are herewith further advised that the Contractor will be required to co-ordinate the Work with Board personnel to minimize disruption of any Event(s); for instance, parking requirements for certain events at Exhibition Place may also limit the performance of the Work anywhere in the grounds.

UM (2) The schedule of Events in Section II of the Tender Package may contain more detailed scheduling restrictions

arising from construction projects other than the Work and therefore should be read carefully and be fully understood by every Tenderer.

(3) A more detailed listing of the particular events at Exhibition Place may be made available, if deemed necessary,

with the permission of the CEO.

(4) The schedule of Events Dates in Section II of the Tender Package is subject to revision at any time and the Contractor may be required to reschedule certain phases of the Work to suit the revised Schedule.

(5) At this time, as a result of the proposed nature and location of the Work, it is anticipated that it will cause

substantial interference with the parking requirements for certain events currently scheduled in the adjacent buildings; accordingly, the Contractor will be required to perform the Work in the following general sequence:

(i) Pre-construction Meeting : Week of August 4, 2015 (Shop drawings & site measurement) (ii) commence construction on site : Week of September 8, 2015

(iii) achieve Substantial Completion : April 30, 2016 (iv) achieve total performance : May 30, 2016

Construction Shutdown During: Honda Indy, Canadian National Exhibition, Royal Agricultural Winter Fair show schedule subject to change.

General note: (A) Contractor is to fully cooperate with staff on other shows and events that might affect its operations. Refer to Article

29(e) of the General Conditions pertaining to the Construction Deadline. (B) Construction time given above and or in the construction schedule in Section II is considered to be 24 hours per

given day (available from morning 12 AM to evening 11:59PM). Bidders have to finish work within the set periods with that in mind without claiming extra for premium rate or overtime.

19. TIME EXTENSIONS

(1) No time extension will be allowed for extra work which, while performed pursuant to a change order, is work provided for within the tender's contingency and cash allowance.

(2) Liquidated damages pursuant to sub article 29(e) of the General Conditions will be deducted from

the Contract Price commencing on the first day after the scheduled completion date unless the Contractor has submitted a formal written request for extension no later than 2 weeks before the completion date and approval to the extension has been granted by the CEO. 20. INSURANCE

In addition to the requirements of sub article 23(c) of the General Conditions, VDA (Vertical Transportation Consulting Ltd) and E C Associate shall be named as additionally insured in the liability insurance policy.

21. WINTER ACCESS

The Contractor shall be responsible for clearing all snow and ice from the access route to the Site, at the Contractor's own expense, and in a manner satisfactory to the CEO, who shall be consulted in advance with respect thereto.

May 28, 2015 Reference No. 1504-E124 Page 1 of 2 E.C. & Associates Ltd. 152 Pemberton Road Richmond Hill, Ontario L4C 3T7 Attention: Mr. Eric Cho Chemical Analysis of Soil Samples Proposed Exterior New Passenger Elevator General Services Building Strachan Avenue and Manitoba Drive City of Toronto Dear Sir: As requested, our representative visited the captioned site on May 11, 2015 to collect four (4) soil samples for chemical analysis. The purpose of the analysis was to determine the environmental quality of the soil for export purposes. The soil samples were retrieved from boreholes advanced to the sampling depth using Pionjar 120 equipment with a split spoon sampler. The location of the boreholes are shown on the Borehole Location Plan, Drawing No. 1. Based on the visual and olfactory observations, and soil vapour readings obtained, representative soil samples from each borehole were selected and sent to the laboratory for chemical analyses. Detailed descriptions of the encountered subsurface conditions along with the results of the soil vapour measurement are presented are presented in the Borehole Logs in Appendix ‘A’. There was no visible stain or odour emitted from any of the soil samples during the collection for chemical testing. The samples were sent to AGAT Laboratories, accredited by the Canadian Association of Environmental Analytic Laboratories (CAEAL), for analysis of Metals and Inorganics (M&I), Petroleum Hydrocarbons (PHCs), Polyaromatic Hydrocarbons (PAH), and VOCs under Table 2, Full Depth Generic Site Condition Standards in a Potable Ground Water Condition for Residential/Parkland/Institutional Property Use, in accordance with the “Soil, Ground Water
