Shanghai Skyline in Graphite DetailIt's the overwhelming size and detail of Shanghai's skyline that has captivated 16-year-old Malaysian artist Hanzhen Yap, whose graphite drawing was created especially to benefit our school. Being diagnosed with Autistic Spectrum Disorder has not impeded Hanzhen’s artistic talent, as one can see from the meticulous line quality of his free-hand sketch. Hanzhen’s drawings are one-of-a-kind depictions of buildings and animals and have been shown in 27 exhibitions, but never sold, until now. His dedication and talent have given hope and inspiration to many, but especially those who have or care for those living with special needs.
