Welcome to our classroom newsletter! It’s my pleasure to

be working with your child this year. I look forward to

helping and encouraging them to grow, while engaging

them through the arts.

Each month you will receive a monthly newsletter from

me so please take the time to review it for important dates

and information. It is also important to check your child's

backpack daily, as I will be sending notes home on upcom-

ing events such as color day, leader of the day, or Family

Days.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any ques-

tions or just want to say hi.

The Theme of the month: All about me!

As a way of getting to know each other, this month’s theme is: All about me!

During this theme we will be exploring our names, identi-ty, and family. Some activities will include “me dolls”, friendship cookies, theme related songs/ finger plays, and much more.

A few outcomes for this theme include: Confidence build-ing, socialization , and building positive relationships.

THE TEACHER NIGHT P.M

I encourage those of you who can make meet the teacher night on September 17th to come out and tour our class-room with your child. The CSCC is putting on a BBQ supper for all the families so be sure to get your form into the office. You will find it in your child’s Look Book.

Attention parents: Our school-wide picture day this year will be on Friday September 25th. Although the Pre-K’s normally don’t have school on Friday they will be attending class so they may take part in this event. Please drop your child off at 12:40 p.m. on this day. Pick up will be at 3:20 p.m. All Pre-K’s will be coming in the afternoon.

*Due to the extra day your child will not be attending school the following Monday 28th*
