This new suspension system for the redesigned Colorado has passed the FMVSS126 test for stability control compliance. To probably lift the new Colorado/Canyon suspension 5.5”, we started with new ductile cast iron steering knuckles. The new knuckles position the critical steering and control arm mounting location and work in harmony with the heavy-duty fabricated crossmembers. Along with new crossmembers, the provided differential drop brackets lower and reposition the front differential for correct CV shaft angles and still allow for use of the factory front driveshaft.

The Zone Offroad Suspension system yields the best performance for the price! The ¼” thick one piece crossmembers maintain a factory appearance and improve ground clearance over stock. In addition to an impressive differential skid plate that locks the crossmembers together, a strut bar is added on the passenger side to ensure a solid sub-frame. The CNC machined ductile iron steering knuckles ensure proper steering geometry as well as reduce installation time compared to a drop bracket system. To top it off, this kit includes new front coil-over struts. Combine all of these factors and you can lock in the Zone 6.5” system as the best value on the market!


This system includes everything in the 6.5” system. The only difference is the 4.5” system includes different struts to net 4.5” of lift.

6.5” SPACER SUSPENSION SYSTEM

Zone Offroad now offers a strut spacer alternative to our popular 07-13 6.5” replacement strut system. This new kit includes many of the same features as the current replacement strut kit but is geared more toward those that don’t need the added performance of the replacement strut. The new strut spacer system still utilized the tried-and-true combination of ductile cast iron, precision machine steering knuckles along with 1-piece heavy duty crossmembers to help make the lift possible.

A differential skid plate is included along with all the necessary differential and sway bar relocation brackets. The heavy duty, fully welded strut spacers bolt directly to the top of the factory strut and do not require disassembly of the strut.

In the back, Zone Offroad only uses solid cast rear lift blocks as opposed to fabricated blocks and limits the height to 5”. If you need additional rear height, Zone offers a preferred add-a-leaf to fight spring wrap and yield additional height. Nitro rear shock option available.

The Zone Offroad Suspension system yields the best performance for the price! The ¼” thick one piece crossmembers maintain a factory appearance and improve ground clearance over stock. To create a solid subframe, the system includes two strut bars to secure the crossmembers together. The CNC machined ductile iron steering knuckles ensure proper steering geometry as well as reduce installation time com-pared to a drop bracket system. To top it off, this kit includes new front coil-over struts versus a simple strut spacer found in other systems on the market. This new system uses the popular Zone Adventure Series boxed steel upper control arm design along with traditional torsion key technology in order to gain 3” of lift. By using the new fabricated arms, equipped with factory style ball joints and rubber bushings, the sys-tem is able to maintain a better quality ride and suspension travel over standard “leveling kits”. In addition, a front differential drop is included to keep CV angles within the factory operating range. Rear 2” blocks bring the rear up to give a very slight tail high stance allow-ing the truck to be used as it was intended without having a saggy ride. This system comes complete with a 4” steering arm to yield the factory drag link angle, front and rear brake line relocation brackets, and front and rear yellow zinc plated u-bolts. The front is lifted with 4” leaf springs that utilize a 5-leaf design, anti-friction pads, and center leaf spacer plates, and the rear is lifted with a 4” block. If your truck came with a front sway bar, check out the accessories for a unique shackle sway bar link design that fits lifts from 2-6”.
