ABOUT USOUR HISTORY
SHORT STORYWood & Penny is a small-batch fragrance house dedicated to delivering quality, natural soy candles that inspire change and support the com-mon good.
LONG STORYThe individuals behind Wood & Penny are the friendly neighborhood duo, Ross (on the right) and Rick (on the left). Joined by a passion for handmade quality products and a mutual affinity for common good, the duo set up shop in the spring of 2014 to offer all-natural candles that look good and smell even better. They always list their names in the order of Ross & Rick because the other combination is too close to a rapper that neither party is very fond of. Rick is also much more handsome and charming than Ross. He also wrote this paragraph and wouldn’t let Ross edit it.
THE PENNYInside every Wood & Penny candle, you will find a penny. It’s just a single penny - the lowest denomination of money you can own, and yet for us, it represents something much larger: the heart and soul behind our tiny candle brand. It reminds us, and hopefully you, how important it is to pay- it-forward; how even tiny things as small as a penny can inspire change in someone’s life; and that giving isn’t about the amount, but the effort.
What you use your penny for is up to you. Keep it for good luck? Toss it in a wishing well? Pay it forward? Whatever you choose to do with yours, know that it is also a reflection of a larger contribution we have made. We donate 10% of every candle sold to a select group of charities that also pride themselves on helping others. We like to think it gives our pennies a little more luck, so use it wisely.

makes a great container to hold fresh flowers, q-tips, small office supplies etc.

THE FACTSTERMS, POLICIES, & PRICING
SHIPPING REIMBURSEMENT
We offer a shipping incentive at Wood & Penny that we refer to as “Shipping Reimbursement.” This basically means we reimburse the shipping cost for your order in the retail value of extra items. If your order costs $30 to ship, we will in-clude an extra candle or two small ones to recoup shipping costs. These additional candles can also be used to burn in-house as a store tester.
TURNAROUND TIME
Our typical turnaround time is 1-2 weeks; how-ever, turnaround times may vary with order size. Please contact us regarding your delivery date and if you need special consideration. Holiday orders ship by a specified date each season.

We pride ourselves on being a small batch natural soy candle manufacturer. Our candles are made using natural soy wax and vegetable wax coated cotton wicks. Our soy wax comes from a renewable source grown in the USA.
CANCELLATIONS, RETURNS,
& EXCHANGES
We ask that all cancellations or changes to your or-der be submitted by phone, fax, or email within 24 hours of placing the order. We are nice people over here and want to accommodate whenever possible. If you have a change, just let us know, and we will work to make it happen.
