Hosts!

It is with great pleasure and pure delight to welcome you the family of God, the body of Christ to Holy Convocation 2014! Saints, God has established and settled us over the years and “We Are Still Standing On The Firm Foundation of Holiness” (Isaiah 35:8). A foundation that our late Apostle built upon for nearly 40 years. The years past have helped shape our lives and plan our futures. It was holiness then and its holiness now! The work moves forward and the legacy continues!

There is nothing uncertain about where we are going and how we are going to get there. With clear spiritual vision and keen perception the foundation of God standeth sure (2 Tim. 2:19). Our best days are ahead of us; the awesome grandeur and glory of it all!

Lady Laneace and I, along with the Board of Elders and First Mother of the Fellowship, Coretha Bogier, we are yet committed to the befitting and mighty truths of the Word of God. We are committed to reinforce the barriers and stay on the wall, cultivated and unified in spirit and in truth.

We pray these five days of this Holy Convocation is one you will never forget! You have already laid the foundation to receive blessings in this awesome gathering by standing firm on holiness and experiencing victory through a surrendered and overcoming life! Let go and experience the manifestation of God’s greater glory! You have an expected end and God will not come short of it! God honors holy living!

Flags fly half mast, purple and gold decors the pulpit chair, chimes rang throughout the city, ribbons dazzled through the breeze from the wreaths placed on the doors, and the markee sign echoing, “Rest In Peace Apostle Bogier” signifies a grave moment in time. On Saturday, July 4, 2016 time was marked to salute a man of God, a servant and Apostle of the Lord, a general in stature, a true prophet, an amazing man, Apostle Dr. Lawrence Bogier, Jr.

After surrendering from a boiler maker and welding profession in New York to do full time ministry in 1976, he yielded to the divine will of God with his lifemate and family by his side. Apostle Bogier labored in kingdom work through ministry that expanded worldwide and was Overseer of up to 24 churches.

With much sacrifice and without fail he cried loud and spared not, proclaiming the unadulterated gospel for nearly four decades. His message was simple and never changing; “it was heaven or hell”. It was fruitful, powerful and effective! Ecclesiastes 11:5a says we know not the way of the spirit, so the truth is we will never know the full impact on lives affected and regenerated by this man of God. What we do know is his preaching reached the heart and saved the souls of men, women, boys, and girls ubiquitously. Through his spiritual tenure and model of righteous living, many developed to become Pastors, teachers, prophets, missionaries, etc.

He preached not only spiritual learning but taught the importance of academic integrity. He encouraged the young to get a good education, learn a trade, be well rounded, and be all that God wanted them to be.

Apostle was a man who experienced dreams and visions from the throne of God. A man of faith and much prayer. He stood on the word, “faith

is the substance of things hoped and the evidence of things not seen” (Hebrews 11:1). He believed God for what others could not see, a visionary of things, people, and places. The first was building the church, and then believing God for a fellowship convention center. When he was directed by God where to build, it was nothing but grown up brush. God told him to walk the land and wherever his feet shall tread the land would be his. He walked through the land with his hands lifted up, barely able to see the top of his head. Like Abraham, he staggered not at the promises of God but was eager and obedient. Today the church and a 124,000 sq. facility (LBJ Community Development Center, Inc.) named after him stands erected as proof. The building is used as a convention center for fellowship gatherings, an establishment serving hot meals twice a week to those in need in the community, an auditorium which serves as a perfect setting for banquets, weddings, homegoing services, church functions, etc.. Second Timothy 2:15 stimulated his extensive biblical education to earn his Bachelor of Theology, Master of Theology, Doctor of Divinity, and Doctor of Sacred Theology Degrees and encouraged others to do the same. He would always say, “follow me as I follow Christ”. The Tabernacle Christian University, an accredited college where he served as Chancellor, grew from a bible institute. It now has campuses and online and satellite classes branched in North Carolina, Indiana, Georgia, and Florida.

Besides prison, nursing home, street team, broadcast/telecast, tent, trumpet sounds newsletter, hospitality, and home missions, his travels to foreign missions included the Bahamas, Costa Rica, South America, the Philippines, the Caribbean Islands, and Ghana-West Africa preaching and teaching the gospel as commissioned by God. More humanitarian outreach ministries seen by his prophetic eye are in view of coming to pass, i.e. an Elderly Care Program, After School Program, Vocational/Rehabilitation and more, always striving to help the less fortunate.

He was a living icon of the things he preached. Mark 16:17-18 “And these signs shall follow them that believe…” So many experiences, so many revelations, so many prophecies, so many lessons learned, so many miracles of healing, the captive set free, the dead brought back to life, the casting out of devils, all followed by testimonies of the power of God!.

The drive, the determination, the sacrifice, the will caused us to say, “what manner of man is this. No man can do these things except God be with him”. He emerged as a giant in the 20th century doing the will of his Father. This was witnessed by the outpouring of supporters during the memorial and homegoing celebration services.

During an encounter with the Son of God in an out of body heavenly experience early in his ministry, Jesus promised him he could come back to heaven after his work was done. Like Enoch, he had a testimony that he “pleased God.” His work is now done and he has transitioned from labor to reward. We will miss him dearly but we know absent from the body, present with the Lord. The work will move forward and his legacy will continue!

The Work Moves Forward...His Legacy Continues

And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. Mark 16:17-18 (KJV)

Elder Isaac L. Lister, Jr. is a member of Freeway Tabernacle of Prayer for All People, Inc. He was born on August 28, 1979 in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. His childhood years were spent between Raleigh, North Carolina where he lived with his mother and Elizabeth City, North Carolina during the summer months with his grandmother. At the age of 10, with the help of two ministers performing missionary work, he received Jesus Christ as his Personal Savior. At the age of 11 he met Sister Evelyn M. Whidbee who would later become founding Pastor of the Freeway Tabernacle of Prayer for All People, in Elizabeth City, NC.

Just after his 13th birthday Elder Lister became a permanent resident of Elizabeth City, NC, joined Freeway Tabernacle and enrolled in the Freeway Tabernacle Bible Institute. He graduated from Northeastern High School in 1997 in Elizabeth City where he earned his high school diploma. The Lord blessed him to further his education and earn a Bachelor’s Degree in 2001 and two Master Degrees in 2008 and 2013.

During Elder Lister’s undergraduate studies he met the love of his life, Jada and by 2001 they were married. They are the proud parents of two sons, Isaac III (Tre) and Jaiden.

After graduation from high school and years of studying God’s Word and homiletics through Bible School, Elder Lister was called into the ministry at the age of 18. He was afraid to heed the call, but more afraid to be disobedient to God. God saw in him what he did not see in himself. After fail attempts to avoid what God had assigned, he eventually said, “Yes, Lord,” and he yielded to his Master’s Will. Elder Lister was ordained through the fellowship with the Tabernacle of Prayer for All People, Inc. in Jamaica, New York. In June 2012.

Pastor Whidbee’s final charge during that last Sunday morning service was that Freeway Tabernacle “STAY ON THE FOUNDATION AND BUILD” and Minister Lister be officially ordained as an Elder. “Second Timothy,” as Isaac was often called by Pastor Whidbee (Pastor Overton is “First Timothy”), served faithfully under her as her son in the Gospel until her passing in February 2013. Now he humbly serves the saints of Freeway Tabernacle under the leadership of Pastor Charles Overton.

Elder Jewel Lee is the Pastor of The Original Tabernacle of Prayer in Goldsboro, NC. He is a faithful and dedicated man of God. He decided to sell out his life for him, no matter the cost. He is the son of Mother Carolyn Lee Blount and the Late Raiford Louis Lee, and the youngest of two brothers and two sisters. He is the God son of Mother Coretha Bogier and the late Apostle Lawrence Bogier, Jr. Before he was born, his destiny was designed by God.

Elder Lee is an end time David, strong in faith, seeking only after the heart of God. Destiny began for Elder Lee at the age of 14 when God used his Pastor and mentor, the late Apostle Lawrence Bogier, Jr., to anoint his hands to play the organ. It was at this time that the mantle of his leader was cast upon him. Elder Lee totally sold out his life to God and accepted him as his savior in 1993. He later realized that God had need of him in ministry and answered the call to preach in the year 2000. He was ordained an Elder in 2004. He sought to know more of him through the rich word of God by obtaining his Associates Degree in Theology and is working towards his Bachelor.

He spent many days and nights alone with God and sought Him often in prayer. He often recalls how God told him one night while in prayer, “If ye be faithful unto me, I will be faithful unto you.” Elder Lee’s faithfulness to God first and then ministry has proven great results in his life.

He served faithfully in many capacities in his church, the Original Tabernacle of Prayer, to name a few; Minister of music, street team member, audio/video, weekly television broadcast editor, youth pastor, Vice President of Elders Board, and armor bearer and supporter to his leaders. Little did he know the depths of the work and the greatness of the ministry God has in store for him. He was selected by God to become the student, assistant, and on January 7, 2013, was named successor of the ministry by his Pastor. Like Samuel, his pastor was charged by God to “look not on the outward appearance but on the heart”, for “this is the one”! Having inherited a “double portion” of his Apostle’s spirit, he began Pastoral ship of the Original Tabernacle of Prayer For All People, Inc. June 7, 2014, by declaration of Apostle Bogier before his homegoing.

Elder Lee often says how God made ONE wife just for him, which would be none other than Lady Laneace Lee. God blessed this union over 17 years ago and continues to prove what the word of the Lord says in Matthew 19: 6b “What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.” This unification produced four blessings. He is the proud father of three daughters and a son—Nyla Charisma, Jada Morgan, Ava Rose, and Joel Louis.

Most importantly, he is saved, sanctified, and filled with the Holy Ghost. He is a powerful prayer warrior who believes that it is through prayer that one knows God even greater. He will preach, don’t mind preaching and has a message for this Mess Age. His favorite Scripture is Isaiah 1:19, “If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land.” He is a preacher, teacher, and a reacher. His goal is to win souls into the kingdom of God! Is there a word from the Lord? YES!
