All Haier ductless split air conditioners are tested to AHRI standards and have ETL certification. The total system, comprised of an engineered matched indoor and outdoor units, ensures a comfortable room setting without having to give up quiet, your view of the outside and wasted energy dollars. Our standard features start with an advanced DC inverter technology that saves you energy; comfort management systems that display the room or set temperatures; and innovative filtration that help provide a healthy indoor air environment.*

Haier’s ductless split air conditioner systems range in sizes from 9000 BTU’s to 36000 BTU’s and SEER levels from 13 to 20. There are three series of products available for single zone systems; Easy, Forward, and Novel and three for multi-zone systems; Duo, Trio and Quatro. The multi-zone product line; 2 to 1, 3 to 1, and 4 to 1 also come in various BTU combinations, affording you flexibility. These options allow you to zone the comfort you want in your home or building. In addition Haier offers packaged terminal air conditioners and through-the-wall air conditioners for those special applications.

QUICK START Starts the unit quickly to maximize the efficiency of the electrical current.

STABLE TEMPERATURE When the room temperature achieves the desired temperature, the unit will run at a low frequency to keep the room comfortable.

ENERGY SAVING The unit starts at a low frequency and current to avoid frequent shutting on and off. At the set temperature, the unit operates at low speed to create comfort and save energy at the same time.

AUTO RESTART After a sudden loss of electrical power, the unit automatically returns to the previous operation/mode when power is restored. There is no reset button to press.

Utilizing an advanced gold-plated hydrophilic evaporator, water from condensation washes away impurities that form on the evaporator when the unit is in Cool or Dehumidify mode. The system automatically dries the evaporator when the unit is off.

The activated carbon filter is an effective absorber of particles and odors due to its highly developed cell structure.

Anti-Allergen, Anti-Viral, and Anti-Bacterial protection help keep the air in the room clean and healthy.

Control the direction of the airflow using the remote control allowing you to get the comfort where you want it.

A precisely designed remote control allows you to manage the unit's settings from anywhere in the room.

Quiet operation A number of elements such universal heater, tangential fan, and separate indoor and outdoor fans ensure that Haier PTACs are exceptionally quiet. The chassis is well-sealed to help prevent the transmission of outdoor noise. In addition, vibration-reducing rubber mounts for the compressor and a well-insulated sleeve add to the unit’s noise reduction package.

univerSal CHaSSiS The 16” x 42” size fits all competitor 42” sleeves. The power cord, length determined by the model’s BTU, is included. Additional power cords are available depending on the kW Heater requirements. All this makes Haier PTACs the clear choice for replacing an existing unit.

Tangential FanThe balanced tangential fan provides symmetrical and stable airflow for quieter operation and enhanced guest comfort.

vent DoorThe large vent door can be opened to allow 70 or 80 CFM (depending on model) of fresh air to enter the room when the indoor fan is operating.

universal HeaterThe universal heater is capable of handling 2kW, 3kW or 5kW applications. A 20 amp power cord comes standard with the 7000, 9000, and 12000 BTU units. The 15000 BTU units come with a 30 amp power cord.

easy-Access FiltersTwo nylon mesh, washable filters are included to keep the unit operating efficiently. Front panel access allows them to be easily removed for cleaning.

POWER RECEPTACLE CONFIGURATIONS

(i) Require when using a Hard Wire Kit.

(ii) Provides a space to tie into a building’s wiring with a receptacle to plug the unit into. It gives additional leveling and support capabilities and provides a place for fuses, a circuit breaker or a mechanical disconnect to be mounted. A licensed HVAC contractor and a licensed electrician are required to install these products. You cannot install the products yourself.

The indoor and outdoor units must be matched for the system to operate properly.

Outdoor units are factory pre-charged. Additional refrigerant may be required depending on the type, location and distance of the installation.

The heat pump models are designed to provide supplemental heat in the colder environments. An additional source of heat may be required to meet your heating needs.

All wiring cables and wiring must be in compliance with and meet applicable local and national electrical codes.

For additional information on the products, read and refer to the Owner’s Manual before using the products. The Owner’s Manual has critical installation, safety warnings and instructions that must be followed.

Additional materials for installation may have to be purchased by the licensed HVAC contractor and licensed electrician. This will include line sets and any and all electrical components (circuit breakers, additional wiring, etc.)
