Andwith its wind-beating full fairing, 17-litre fuel tankand optional luggage, the Diversion F is capable oftaking on some serious long-distance touring.

Featuring an efficient fuel injectionsystem and equipped with a 6-speed gearbox, this free-revvingpowerplant delivers a wide band of smooth power that's easy to usearound town. And on the open road you can expect some seriousperformance.

Confident handlingOnce you sit astride the Diversion F you'll experience just how comfortableand compact the chassis feels. Running with a lightweight tubular frameand benefitting from 41mm front forks and Yamaha's proven monocrossrear suspension, this agile-handling all-rounder delivers easymanoeuvrability in town, with assured roadholding on the highway.

Aerodynanic full fairingWhat really makes the Diversion F stand out is its sleek aerodynamic fullfairing. Featuring sharp race-inspired lines with twin frontal air intakes, thislightweight bodywork offers superb wind and weather protection all yearround. And for extra upper-body wind protection, Yamaha offer an optionaltinted double-bubble screen.

Comprehensive instrumentationThe Diversion F's racing-style instrument console features an easy-to-readanalogue tachometer on the right, and a multi-function digital display - whichincludes a speedometer - on the left. And for added visibility at night the consolebenefits from white LED backlighting and a luminous white tachometer needle.

Rugged and stylish storageThe Diversion F is a seriously competent all-rounder which can be used for awide variety of roles, including commuting, leisure riding and touring. Forextra load carrying capacity, Yamaha offer an optional sturdy rear carrier and39- or 50-litre topcase. And for added security there's a U-lock storage spaceunder the seat.

ABS available as an optionThe Diversion F is also offered with an anti-lock braking system (ABS) as anoption. This compact system is designed to prevent the front and back wheellocking up while braking, and can give added rider confidence on slippery andloose surfaces.
