TRANSFORMING FOR OUR FUTUREM U S I C F O R A L L . . . F O R L I F E !

In 2014 the Center will be filled with the sounds of hammers and saws as well as music. As we move into the third phase of capital improvements to our home at 200 East Baseline Road in Lafayette, a generous lead

gift from philanthropist Glenn Korff has launched our work to expand and deepen our service by upgrading our building in response to the evolving needs of our community.

2014 UPGRADES WILL INCLUDE:• Renovating our teaching studios

• Increasing classroom space to meet the need for group and ensemble lessons

• Upgrading Founders Hall Auditorium with enhanced sound separation and improved acoustics

• Reconfiguring the lobby and box office to create a welcoming patron environment

• Upgrading key infrastructure (electrical systems, plumbing and restrooms)

YOUR HELP WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

$75,000 is needed to complete the 2014

renovations and upgrades.

Please consider an investment to help Colorado Music Festival & Center for Musical Arts achieve this goal.

ABOUT THE CENTER FOR MUSICAL ARTS

The Center for Musical Arts (CMA), established in 1995, continues to exemplify its founding commitment to MUSIC FOR ALL…FOR LIFE!

CMA’s halls are alive with scales, songs and sonatas—from classical to jazz to rock and song. By helping to upgrade the Center for Musical Arts, your investment will help to make possible important services including music education for 500 students weekly, from toddlers to senior citizens; music therapy for children with physical, cognitive and developmental disabilities, and financial aid for all who need it—no one is turned away for financial reasons.

Our building is at the heart of this ability to serve the community with musical and educational diversity and excellence. The first two phases of our capital campaign, completed between 2009 and 2013, resulted in

community donations totaling more than $365,000.

PAST IMPROVEMENTS TO OUR BUILDING INCLUDE:• Replacing the roof

• Adding an ADA accessible porch and entrance

• Painting the building’s exterior

• Reconfiguring the kitchen

• Installing the Music Discovery Garden of playable instrument sculptures, along with new landscaping
