Mike BrizendineMike Brizendine enters his fifth year as Virginia Tech’s head coach after spending five years as the Hokies’ top assistant. Brizendine’s 2011 squad played five top-25 nationally ranked opponents. Tech was one of

three men’s soccer programs in the Atlantic Coast Conference to earn the honor in both years.

An experienced coach on all levels, Brizendine helped guide the Hokies to their first NCAA College Cup appearance in school history in 2007. For his contributions, Brizendine was recognized as the NSCAA’s Atlantic Region Assistant Coach of the Year in 2007. Brizendine joined the Hokie staff after a successful stint with Bridgewater (Va.) College, a Division III program . After assisting both the men’s and women’s programs at Bridgewater in 2000, he became the head men’s coach from 2001 to 2003, guiding the team from non-competitive status to a full-fledged Division III program.

The Nike Collegiate Soccer Experience is held on the campus of Virginia Tech. All fields used for the Collegiate Soccer Experience are located on Virginia Techs Campus. With a wide variety of facilities Virginia Tech features some of the best playing surfaces in the country. All campers use the practice training fields (grass and field turf for all playing conditions) as well as have access to Rector Field House (indoor soccer complex).

Overnight Camp:Our residential camps are a great opportunity for you to spend time with our coaching staff and to use the fabulous facilities at Virginia Tech. Players receive instruction from a variety of college coaches from the East Coast. Our camps are designed for players who want to improve their game for high school, club, and, looking to the future, college soccer. Features several instructional sessions per day, meals, and lodging in on campus residence halls.

Extended Day Campers (9:00am-9:00pm): Several instructional sessions per day, both lunch and dinner.

Goalkeeper TrainingOur goalkeeping camps are run in conjunction with our residential camps. The structure of the goalkeeper camp offers a balance of specific goalkeeper training, training with the team, and playing in games.
