Our Mission: EPILEPSY WATERLOO-WELLINGTON is a community

based agency whose team of caring members, volunteers, and staff are

dedicated to improving the quality of life for those with epilepsy and their

support networks through education, support, advocacy, and public

awareness.

Services Manager’s Message:

I am fortunate to have assumed the role of Services Manager

in February of 2014, after serving as the Services Coordinator in 2013. Since

then I have seen steady growth in the programs and services offered here at

Epilepsy W.W and we continue to garner very positive recognition in the

community through our excellent fundraising and awareness events.

It is a privilege to be working alongside such a tremendous group of

volunteers. Together, all of us can take great pride in our work as an

organization serving the communities of Waterloo- Wellington.

On behalf of Epilepsy Waterloo-Wellington, I thank you for your support and

look forward to a promising future of helping to improve the quality of life for

people living with epilepsy.

Sincerely,

Jennifer Lyon

Services Manager

Epilepsy WW hosted

the second annual

Raissa’s Run, a 2K

walk/5K run for

Epilepsy

Awareness!

Participants enjoyed

Waterloo Park on a

sunny Saturday

morning on July

26th.

This event was

created in memory

of Raissa De Monte,

who passed away in

2012 from

complications

relating to epilepsy.

This event increased

awareness of

epilepsy in the

community and

showed those who

are living with the

disorder that they

are not alone.
