    University admissions

A- Level choices are critical in determining university courses.

    • Check with Universities for specific A level subject

    • Grade requirements vary BUT higher grades = more options

    • 4 AS Levels and one dropped at A2 Level

    •UK require full A – Level

    • Other countries such as USA accept AS BUT completing full A

     – Level is recommended, this may give you credits depending

    on the subject

    Still unsure?

    • Variety of subjects

    Strong subjects

    • Subjects enjoyed

    • One or more A Level qualification in any “facilitating subject”(physics, chemistry, biology, English, geography, history, lan-

guage, mathematics and further mathematics) will keep open

    a number of degree courses.
