ObjECTIVESTo provide specialized knowledge of current practices in Steam and Condensate systems that go into designing a new system, putting together a project that covers the Steam and Condensate loop and also the factors to be considered so as to make the design energy efficient.

TOPICS INCLUDE• Review of the Fundamentals of Steam• Pipe Sizing for Steam Distribution• Steam Trap Testing• Pipe Sizing for Condensate Lines• Pressure & Temperature Control Valve Sizing• Flash Steam Recovery and Condensate Pumps

Note: Pre-requisite for this course is the Fundamentals of Steam Utilization and a good technical knowledge.

Practical Pressure & Temperature Controls

ObjECTIVESA practical experience in the workings of pressure & temperature control valves including direct/self-acting valves and pneumatic/electrically actuated valves.

The exercise will also include a look at the assembly and repairs to Steam Traps, Condensate Return Pumps and Automatic Pump Traps.
