Cambridge CELTA CertificateCELTA stands for Certificate of English Language Teaching to Adults. It is the longest running teacher-training program in the world. It adheres to the standards set out by Cambridge University in the United Kingdom and is considered the most recognizable and reputable English teacher training certificate in the world.
CELTA is an initial teaching qualification taken by individuals whose aspirations include teaching English as a Second language locally or abroad. During the program, trainees are observed by their CELTA tutors, who grade their teaching practice lessons.
