Synopsis (50-100 words): A man awake late at night accidentally injures himself, only to find mysteriousletters at his door in a series of increasingly bizarre events linked to a creepy urban legend that mayactually be real. An atmospheric short film that gives birth to a terrifying new urban legend.

This was a completely low budget shoot with a crew of one and only one actor throughout. No permits, nofancy production techniques. Just a script that wanted to introduce a fictional new mythology to audiencesthat would stick with them even after the film ends. A feature length screenplay to adapt the idea to longer 

form is being considered.

Faisal Hashmi is an award-winning UAE-based filmmaker with a number of winning short films andbranded content under his belt. At the age of 21, his short film ‘Perfect Living’ screened at the CannesFilm Festival Short Film Corner in May 2011 & won Best Film at Season of Film judged by acclaimedEmirati director Nawaf Al-Janahi. His much larger next film ‘Bubble’ proved to be a lasting success,winning Best Film by the American Islamic Congress and playing at multiple film festivals across the worldwith many more screenings this year. The film was widely viewed by hundreds of film professionals in theregion and connected with audiences around the world, racking up more than 22,000 views on Youtubeand Vimeo. He's currently working on more genre short films and a feature film screenplay for productionnext year.
