Every year, adults and children alike celebrate the season with ABC Family’s must-see holiday specials, Christmas favorites, and family movie weekend marathons.

More than 100 million total viewers have been reached annually since 2007, so give your advertisers the opportunity to reach record numbers of viewers with this hugely successful promotion!

2012 Highlights

• ABC Family’s 15th annual 25 Days of Christmas scored the event’s best deliveries ever across Total Viewers and all 18-49, 25-54, 18-34 and 12-34 demos. Year-to-year, the stunt grew by double-digits in virtually all key breaks (P18-49: +18%, P12-34: +15%)

• ABC Family ranked as basic cable’s #1 network during 25 Days in Total Viewers, P/W18-49, P/W25-54, P/W18-34 and P/F12-34

• The Dec 2nd showing of Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas was particularly huge, ranking as ABC Family’s #3 telecast of all-time in Total Viewers (5.47 million) and P18-49

• This was the 6th consecutive year that 25 Days reached over 100 million Total Viewers (106.9 million), and when combining 25 Days with November’s Countdown to 25 Days of Christmas, our holiday programming reached a staggering 118.6 million Total Viewers

• Enroll on the promotion microsite at www.abcfamily25daysofchristmas.com and choose the spot commitment option that works for you

• If so desired, request your retail point of sale kits to drive traffic to a sponsor’s location and provide a point of entry into the 25 Days of Christmas $25,000 Giveaway

• Digital assets, like Facebook graphics and suggested copy points, will be available to help drive your digital/social strategy. You can also earn 100 bonus points for using our customizable flash banners. Just submit a request on the promotion site and we’ll code them for you

• Run your committed tune-in spot requirement and submit affidavits at the end of the flight period

• Choose from great prizing options in our online shop and use the merchandise as an advertiser or internal incentive

How it WorksEnrollment

Enroll on the promotion microsite at www.abcfamily25daysofchristmas.com• Choose the spot commitment option that best meets your market’s needs

• You will receive an Enrollment Confirmation Email with a username and password once your enrollment is approved

• Use your points to choose from great prizing available in the online store for your advertiser or internal incentive

• Points will be activated at the end of the promotion period. You’ll receive an email reminder to submit your affidavits and return to the online shop to complete your merchandise order

How it WorksParticipation KitOrder your participation kit to drive traffic to your sponsor’s retail location • Each kit includes:

1 ballot box and 300 entry forms 2 double-sided posters and 10 staff buttons 100 Programming Guides 25 Days of Christmas DVD sizzle (available upon request)

• Order as many as you need, but remember, they’re available on a limited, first come, first served basis

• In December, you will receive envelopes and return Fedex slips to send your entry forms to the promotion headquarters

• All ballots will be entered into the 25 Days of Christmas $25,000 Giveaway – it’s the same national sweepstakes and incredible prize you’re used to, just with a new name!

• Please note that organizations in the following categories cannot be offered sponsorship of ABC Family local ad sales promotions: Gun shops, smoke shops, liquor stores, strip clubs/massage parlors, or organizations with religious or political affiliations. Organizations in some other categories, including non-profits, theme parks, and cruise lines, may be denied sponsorship if not deemed acceptable by the parent organization, Disney and ESPN Media Networks.

photos, and suggested copy to use for posts on Facebook and Twitter • Earn bonus points for using our customizable flash banners. Just submit a

request on the enrollment site and we’ll code three banners for you with a custom URL to help us track metrics, earning you 100 bonus points to spend in the incentive store There’s no need for you to provide any additional reporting at the end of the

promotion Submit request for banners on the My Account page by 10/31. Coded files will be

sent to you by 11/14 unless another deadline is provided

On the revamped $25,000 Giveaway site, consumers can play virtual dress up as their favorite holiday characters using our Show Your Christmas Spirit photo experience.

Participants just need to position their face to line up with the on-screen accessories using a webcam and then snap a photo.

They can don Rudolph’s look with a red nose and antlers, get jolly with a Santa hat and white beard, or go elf-chic with elf ears and a pointy hat. Whichever they choose, they’ll end up with a shareable image to send to friends or use as a profile pic.
