investments that pays for the operation of the Rotary Foundation.

So, how can you becomeinvolved with the Rotary

become involved with the Rotary Foundation?

First, become a Sustainer.
Contribute $100 per year to the Annual Fund.

Clubs– what can you do to help encourage giving?
First, make it easy for your Members to give –
One simple idea: Bill Sustainer contributions quarterly with your dues!

Next, honor those who do give!
• Recognize sustainers with Badge stickers
• List them in your directory and in the database
• Hold Formal presentations of new Paul Harris Fellows
Club Presidents – what’s your role?
• Lead by example – be a sustainer and a Paul Harris Fellow, and wear your pin!
• Appoint a club Foundation chair, and list them on the club Database and with RI.
• Make sure your club sends contributions in regularly throughout the Rotary year.
Next, Involve your Club in Foundation Programs!
• Seek out Global Grant Projects• Apply for a District Grant to do a local
project• Participate in the End Polio Now
fundraising effort• Sponsor a GSE Team leader or member• Nominate an Ambassadorial Scholar
Regional Training in 2013-2014
• Combined Grant Management/Rotary Foundation training seminars
• Basic Foundation knowledge, along with specific information on Global and District Grants
Keep Track of Your Club’s Progress
• Review Monthly Foundation contribution reports printed in the District newsletter
• During last quarter of year, monthly reports will be sent directly to Presidents
Please LOOK at these reports! Contributions should be sent quarterly to the Foundation – if your club hasn’t sent any, FIND OUT WHY!
