SIDE-BY-SIDE STUDENT TESTIMONIALS

I joined the Side-by-Side program that the Collegiate Chorale offers through the Frank Sinatra School of the Arts, and this program pretty much changed my life. I was able to perform with other amazing singers, incredible soloists and sing all around New York City. For the first time this year I was able to travel to Verbier, Switzerland and I cannot thank you enough for this opportunity that helps me become the best

singer I can be. You are the reason I don’t give up my dream. - Jose

These two years have been filled with both great musicianship development and performances that will forever stay in my heart. Because of your generous scholarship I was able to travel to the Verbier Festival and share extraordinary musical moments with the other passionate performers there. If it wasn't for your generosity, and The Chorale’s help and enthusiasm, this trip wouldn't have been

possible. – Elizabeth

Prior to the tour, I was considering dropping my music studies. As I sat on stage in the Smolarz Auditorium at Tel Aviv University […], I was on the verge of tears. I was halfway across the world, about to perform. It was a sudden moment of clarity for me […] and the push I needed to pursue a minor in music, as well as a major in

International Relations, once I enroll in college next fall. – Shana

Thank you for what has been the opportunity of a lifetime. This is the type of thing

that makes me realize how much I want to be an artist. - Vincent COMMITED TO EDUCATION The Collegiate Chorale is not only committed to providing New York City with performances of the highest artistic quality, but we are dedicated to bringing the gift of music to young people through our extensive education program. The Chorale provides hundreds of New York City high school students with the opportunity to attend our concerts free of charge – supplying these students with preparatory materials to enhance their concert experience. Since 2003, The Chorale has provided professional level coaching and performance opportunities to musically-advanced high school students through the Side-by-Side program. Students rehearse and perform side-by-side with Chorale members in both domestic and international venues. Many have expressed the belief that these experiences have helped to launch them on their musical career path.
