America's Majestic Miss is designed to help young women show case their talents and skills and to develop confidence and poise as they represent their states. This system celebrates individuality in the young women of today while giving each

contestant and their families’ memories of a lifetime. We promote and encourage each contestant’s success through the development of skills we believe are most important to

possess in our competitive world today: confidence, poise, character, and leadership qualities. America’s Majestic Miss is a national pageant program that combines beauty

and excitement of a national pageant while recognizing the personal achievements, community service and academic excellence of young women all across America. Our program is designed to award young women for their accomplishments, and to develop

them to reach their full potential and goals. America’s Majestic Miss will award prestigious national titles, prizes, and cash at the October 04-06, 2013 pageant in

Atlanta/Marietta.

Congratulations! You have just started a year of full privilege and excitement. You are the first that will have the honor to travel to Atlanta, Georgia to compete in our 2013 America’s Majestic Miss Competition. What an honor! You have been chosen to represent your state and community. We are thrilled that you have chosen to be a part of our America’s Majestic Miss Family.

Our pageant is filled with fun, excitement, and a chance to meet wonderful friends from all over the country and make memories of a lifetime. This will be an experience that you will never forget.

Enclosed in this binder is important information covering all aspects of our pageant. Please read it carefully. We will be adding new information in the next few months so please ad it your binder and bring it to nationals in October.

Ad Page Info 2013

**All contestants must sell one-page in our program book for $100**.

This is a great opportunity to win great prizes and to get exposure for your title BEFORE you attend the national titles.

Ad sales generate interest and support throughout your area as you prepare to compete for the titles of America’s Majestic Miss 2013.

Additional sponsors should be obtained by everyone! The more ad pages you sell- the more you win!

You may have a single sponsor per page or use several different sponsors on a page. Your picture will appear on every half-page sold by you. If you have numerous ads in the program, you can show different looks of yourself and you can submit a different photo for each page. You may obtain sponsors in any amount. The total price is $100 per page for a full-page ad. ½ page- $50 ¼ page- $75 Business card (good luck ads) 10 per page and are $10 each or have friends and family sign autographs and good luck wishes to you and charge them $5-$10 per person.

Creative ideas to sell ads:

Set up a table at your school or church and accept $1-$5 donations for a signature page

Host a carwash and tell everyone that his or her donation is going toward your ad page for your Atlanta trip.

You can sell doughnuts to pay for your ad pages.

All ads and checks must be received in the national office by July 31, 2013.

America’s Majestic Miss Hospitality

This is a wonderful opportunity to meet new people in your area, gain exposure for your state title, and receive recognition as our Miss America’s Majestic Miss- Georgia Hospitality 2013. The contestant that submits the most ad pages over 10 pages will be featured in our 2013 program book with a full-page ad. They will be crowned at the finals with a crown and banner and hold the title of Miss America’s Majestic Miss Hospitality. (Only one winner) **

2013 Miss America’s Majestic Miss Ambassador: All contestants selling a minimum of five ad pages will be featured in our 2014 National program. They will be individually recognized and announced at crowning. They will receive a special prize package and banner. **

Adobe Photoshop saved as .jpeg 300 dpi gray scale.

Adobe Illustrator all fonts converted to paths.

Microsoft word, publisher, and PowerPoint are acceptable. We do not design ads. If you want us to design it please PayPal-$50 for design fee by our program book designers.

If ads do not meet above requirements, then production charges will be charged.

You can go to Kinko’s and take ad dimensions and materials and they can create the correct size of ad for you. Camera ready art is acceptable with a $20 charge.

Program Book

Photo requirements for the program are for each contestant to submit a headshot no smaller than a wallet-sized photo and no larger than an 8 X10. Your picture should highlight your beauty and look like you. Photos should not include crowns and banners. WE MUST HAVE YOUR PHOTO BY July 31, 2013 or your picture will be excluded from the program.

America’s Majestic Miss National Pageant Competitions:

The competition consists of three primary competitions: Evening wear, Majestic Wear and Interview/Intro. National entry fees are $100 registration to receive your title, crown and banner. National fees are $295 + one ad page for $100.

Our America’s Majestic Miss Queens must be able to speak clearly and articulately in their speaking and conversational skills. They must project confidence and project a positive upbeat personality.

Evening Wear: Counts as 40% of total score.

America’s Majestic Miss Queens must have a strong sense of self, creativity, and individuality. They must carry themselves with confidence and be proud to be a young woman.

Majestic Wear: Counts as 20% of total score.

Each contestant must choose an outfit that shows their true sense of style and personality. Delegates will model an outfit that reflects who they are and what makes them unique. Outfits must be age appropriate. Majestic wear can be cocktail dress, party dress, or casual wear. Let your imagination guide you!

America’s Majestic Queens must be able to serve as the national spokesperson for our system. They must be confident, articulate and have excellent skills in conversational and social skills.

Interview: Counts as 40% of total score.

The interview is the time to let the judges know who you are and see your personality. You want to let them know why you are the best candidate for the title. Our judges will be warm, kind and friendly. They will not ask you any political questions. Questions will be asked according to age group. Each contestant will introduce themselves to the judges and they will spend 3 minutes per judge in a round robin fashion. The interview is mostly based on the personal information from their application forms. Be yourself!

Appropriate attire is needed for the interview. Suggested attire is a dress, suit, or pantsuit. Attire must be age appropriate and fashionable.

Personal Introduction: (Counts in interview score)

Your personal introduction will be presented at the beginning of the interview competition. Each contestant ages will present their creative introduction and it should not last over 30 seconds. This should include your name, age, and something unique about yourself. This is your time to shine so go for it. Introductions should be positive and upbeat. Leave the audience wanting more.

America’s Majestic Miss Queens must be able to present themselves with poise, dignity and elegance. Judging will be based on a 1-10 point scale that includes confidence, poise, elegance, personality and overall appearance. All contestants must wear floor length evening gowns that are appropriate for their age except for Baby and Jr. Princess Titles. You may wear any style of dress in any color and any design. We judge on how well the dress fits; the way the contestant presents them in the dress, and how the well the dress expresses their personalities.

Optional Competitions: $50 per individual competition

Ultimate Grand Supreme:

This is the highest title in the pageant and will be awarded to the girl who has the highest points in the entire pageant including evening gown + Majestic wear + and interview/introduction. You must enter to win!!!

Optionals do not count toward the Queen titles. Our optionals are $50 per category and top contestant in each age group that wins will receive cash and a nice gift.

Talent:

We promote a diversified and well-rounded team of young women. Optionals will be performed separately away from the final show. Awards will be presented at our final show. Use your imagination and show the audience what you do well.

You can enter up to two talents and they each will be scored individually. Talent must not exceed 2 minutes. If music is used, then you must turn in your talent Form by July 31st. If you perform a talent that requires speaking or singing, you must wear a microphone.

Talent will be judged 1-25 and the criteria include quality of performance, stage presence, artistic technique and ability. A winner will be determined in each age division. They will receive cash and an award.

Speech:

Speech should not last longer than 2 minutes. Two entries per contestant. Subject your choice.

Supermodel with Style:

America's Majestic Miss always steps out with her best foot forward. She dresses fashionably and presents herself as regal and classy.

You must enter the Majestic wear and photogenic competition to be eligible. Winners will receive cash, and plaque. Scoring 1-25.

A winner from the Pre-Teen and Junior Teen Division and a winner from the Teen and Miss Division will be crowned. Winners will receive cash and award. One entry per contestant.

Casual Wear/Outfit of Choice:

Casual/OOC wear is limited to two entries. This can be any type of casual clothing. Judges will use a 1-25 score for modeling and overall presentation. No Pro-Am routines.

The casual wear winner in each age division will receive cash and award.

Photogenic:

Photogenic winner will be selected in each age division group on the photo(s) submitted for this competition. There will be a winner in each age group and there is no limit of pictures that can be added. You can enter 2 natural pictures. Extra pictures are $ 10 each. Winner will receive cash and award. Bring your 8 x10 or 8 ½ x11 pictures to the pageant to turn in at registration in photo protectors. We will have these available for purchase at registration for $3 each. They can be b/w or color and should have and age group listed on back of photo.

Portfolio:

This is a collection of different shots of the contestant including headshots, ¾ length, and full body shots in different looks. No more than 12 pictures. One winner will be awarded in each age division. Winners receive cash and an award. Two entries per contestant.

Judging is based on energy and personality, smile, originality of poses and wardrobe, appropriate of age and confidence.

Commercial: This competition is limited to two entries. Each contestant is allowed to use a 15-30 second script. Full costumes and props are allowed. A winner in each age division will be awarded with cash and an award.

Free Optionals- All award forms are due in the national office by September 15th, 2013.

Press Release Award: This is a free entry. Have your press release printed in your local newspaper and send a copy to the national office. You will receive a special award.

State Scrapbook Award:

This is a free entry. Make appearances with your state banner and crown and put them in a scrapbook. These must be turned in at registration and will be displayed during the competition. An award will be given in each age division. Bring to pageant

Appearance Award:

This is a free entry. Make appearances in your crown and state banner and list them on the appearance. Take pictures and send them in to the national office with your appearance form. An award will be given in each age division. Bring to pageant.

Community Service Award:

This is a free entry. Complete the Community Service awards form and mail them in to the national office. An award will be given in each age division. Bring to pageant.

Academic Achievement Award:

Complete the Academic Achievement awards form and mail them in to the national office. An award will be given in each age group. Bring to pageant.

Door Decorating Contest: Best door award will be presented to the contestant with the best decorated door. Bring your own decorations and show your pageant spirit on your hotel room door. Please do not use glue or tacks. Use tacky putty and scotch tape to hang your decorations. You can use pictures, a theme, good luck, etc. Let your imagination go wild. Will be judged on Saturday night. Please take a picture of your door with room number and send to 770-364-6641 in a message.

Girls from all around will be vying for these prestigious pageant titles. The girls will compete in eveningwear, Majestic fashion wear, personal introduction and interview for their national titles.

Age groups are Baby Princess (0-3) Junior Princess (4-6) Princess (7-9) Preteen (10-12) Junior Teen (13-15) Teen (16-18) and Miss (19-24). Each of the national winners

will receive a cash scholarship, prizes, official appearances as our National Queen and more.
