Friday morning I was in Padova and I tried to

activate the local wifi service.

Monday morning (four days later or, if you prefer,96 hours later), I finally received the password to

activate the service.

Basilica di Santa Maria Novella

Red Square

An inventive new park in Copenhagens Norrebro

district, Superkilen, designed by Bjarke Ingels

Group (BIG), Superflex, and Topotek 1 serves as a

sort of cultural collage of artifacts sourced from

60+ nationalities. Superkilen slices its way through

the center of the city, soaking up and flaunting its

inhabitants diverse cultural backgrounds along

the way. The kilometer-long wedge of urban

space, completed this summer, is divided

according to use into three distinct color-coded

zones and sports bike paths linking directly to

Copenhagens cycling highways.

Sabbioneta la Citt Fortezza

Teatro all'Antica

The Teatro all'antica ("Theater in the style of the

ancients") is a theatre in Sabbioneta, northern

Italy; it was the first free-standing, purpose-built

theater in the modern world. The Teatro all'antica

is the second-oldest surviving indoor theater in the

world (after the Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza), and

is, along with that theater and the Teatro Farnese

in Parma, one of only three Renaissance theaters

still in existence.

At the Aree Tematiche workshop, ms Rossella

Citterio (head of Communication) explained her

ideas regarding the social media part of Expo

2015.

a) Expo social has to be pop

b) Expo social has to be bottom up

c) Expo social doesn't have to produce content,

but trigger it

Friday 26th of July, is the day when the

@AreeTematiche account on Twitter was open.

Not such an important event, but now there are

two official Expo accounts on Twitter.

@Expo2015Milano is the main official account.

@AreeTematiche is a new account made on

purpose for xyz purposes.

Hopefully in the next six months we will have 20

other official addresses for all kind of different

reasons. Accounts with different audiences,

different moods, different rules of functioning.

Nice. Let's see how the whole will develop...

We had this meeting with the other curators of the

Thematic Areas for Expo 2015. Variou people, lots

of ideas, images, inputs, conversation and talk.

Quite interesting, indeed. Here above an image of

The Internet of Things will introduce a new level

of connectivity, contextualisation, and

understanding of our physical world and promises

to redefine many human paradigms, including our

interaction with food.
