Meridian Tech students – high school and adults – may receive college credit while

taking classes at Meridian Technology Center and apply that credit toward an

Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree at OSU-Institute of Technology, Cowley

College or Northern Oklahoma College. The Oklahoma State Regents for Higher

Education require an $8 per credit hour transcription fee. There is no tuition for these

college hours.

The A.A.S. is a two-year workforce degree awarded by an Oklahoma public college or

university. It is designed for students who are interested in employment in a specific

career. After completion of a Meridian program/career major with cooperative alliance

agreements, most students will only lack another 30 hours of general education credit.

Please see Meridian’s Alliance coordinator about the college degree plans.
