The Copland Leadership program in WA

The Copland Leadership program is CEDA’s professional development program for future leaders. It offers a unique professional collaboration across corporate, government, academic and community sectors.

The seven-part program provides elite access to some of Australia’s top business leaders, who will share their insights and experience in highly interactive and informative group sessions.

The program’s intake is limited to ensure an exclusive and personalised learning experience. Participants will develop an excellent professional network across a broad range of industries, with many making lasting friendships.

Designed to transform leadership skillsThe Copland Leadership program challenges conventional leadership thinking and teaches participants to act decisively in complex situations.

Who should participate?The Copland Leadership program is designed specifically for ambitious emerging leaders planning to accelerate their careers into executive general management.

Copland candidates will have attained certain success in their chosen professions, but now want to elevate their performance along the path to leadership.

Participants come from a broad range of sectors including corporate, business, government, peak bodies, academia and the not-for-profit sector.

Curtin University designed learning modulesIn 2012, the Copland Leadership program’s seven modules will be facilitated by Curtin University.

Curtin’s experienced and dynamic facilitators will deliver cutting edge theoretical frameworks and lead discussion with participants on leadership skills and experiences. Case study presentations from top tier industry, corporate and public sector leaders will enhance the leadership development of participants.

The program consists of monthly seminars that run between May and November.

Dianna is one of WA’s leading facilitators with expertise in the leadership of teams and creating strategic innovative cultures to address business challenges. Dianna’s local and international experience in the field of organisational development design, cascading strategic initiatives and innovation extends over 30 years. Dianna is passionate about innovation, cultural transformation and coaching for high performance.

Dianna lectured on Curtin’s MBA in Strategic Human Resource Management, Organisational Behaviour and Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Dianna’s projects as Co-Principal in the Curtin Centre for Innovation in Decision Quality encompass consulting, teaching and research designed to enhance executive decision quality and to build capability with regard to innovation and high performance cultures.

* Dianna will be the facilitator for all sessions except for Module 2: Strategic thinking (HBDI debrief), which will be conducted by a guest facilitator.
