2012 Snohomish County Solar Tour

Tour Start: 18364 Periwinkle Lane Mount Vernon (near Big Lake) Solar works in Washington! And to prove it, many solar owners are showing off their arrays to the public. Just go to the www.solarwa.org/tours website to find a listing of homes in Snohomish County and other geographic areas that are on the tour for 2012. You will find an amazing “array” of projects that utilize solar and other types of green energy. Tour is self-guided; start anywhere and visit as many or as few sites as you choose. Kickoff Point Highlights Silicon Energy, the leader in Washington Made solar modules and inverters, kicks off the solar day at their factory. Located at 3506 124th Street NE, Marysville, WA 98271, Silicon Energy will conduct tours of the factory and offer refreshments, ideas, and maps of tour sites . You will meet industry professionals who can answer your questions about solar electricity, evacuated tube solar hot water (uniquely suited for our cloudy climate!), micro-hydro, wind energy and other green living topics. We’ll also have maps to the other homes on the tour so you can visit other sites that might be of interest. If you like the concept of “Green Energy” and think about “going green,” this is a good day to go for a drive through Snohomish County to view projects and get information from those who are doing it! 1 In conjunction with the ASES National Solar Tour Snohomish County Solar Tour Solar Tour Oct. 6, 10-4 360-403-0515 www.solarwa.org/tours Saturday, Oct.6,2012 10:00 am to 4:00 pm Solar Tour Oct. 6, 10-4 360-403-0515 www.solarwa.org/tours Solar Tour Oct. 6, 10-4 360-403-0515 www.solarwa.org/tours Solar Tour Oct. 6, 10-4 360-403-0515 www.solarwa.org/tours Solar Tour Oct. 6, 10-4 360-403-0515 www.solarwa.org/tours Solar Tour Oct. 6, 10-4 360-403-0515 www.solarwa.org/tours TOUR KICKOFF 9 a.m: 3506 124th Street NE Marysville, WA 98271 360-403-0515 Free food & gifts, plus LOTS of info! 360-403-0515 [email protected]
