FIRE

Microsoft – Cardinal Place has a fire alarm system which will beactivated when either a smoke detector or call point unit is activated.

The following voice message will accompany the alarm;“Attention, Attention. There is an emergency within the building!Please leave by the nearest available exit.”

On hearing this alarm, you should: Leave the building as quickly and calmly as possible via the nearest fire exit Do not stop to collect personal belongings Do not use the lifts Proceed immediately to the nearest fire assembly point Follow any instructions given to you by the LCC Reception team, Fire Marshals, or

members of Security Only re-enter the building when told it is safe to do so
