KIDS AGAINST HUNGER

Thanks to the generosity of our 2011 HR Florida conference attendees, we raised over $5,000 last year for Kids Against Hunger, a humanitarian food-aid organization. Their mission to significantly reduce the number of hungry children in the USA and feed starving children throughout the world starts with a highly nutritious, vitamin-fortified soy-rice casserole packaged by volunteers. These meals have been formulated by food scientists to provide a rich source of easily digestible protein, carbohydrates, and vitamins needed by a malnourished child’s body and mind.

In addition to collecting donations to cover the food cost of $0.23 per serving, our attendees packaged over 20,000 meals at last year’s conference! We will have stations set up to package food again this year - a wonderful, fulfilling way to feel that you are making a real difference.

Please help us surpass last year’s efforts and contribute to Kids Against Hunger’s goal of packaging 1 million meals in 2012 by making an online donation at www.hrfloridaconference.org.
