MISSION STATEMENTDecibel Festival presents leading edge electronic music and visual art through immersive experiences that intentionally create international community. Founded in 2003 in Seattle, Decibel continues to distinguish itself as one of the premier events of its kind in North America. Festival attendees are exposed to a variety of live, DJ and visual performances, technical exhibitions and educational sessions

In fall 2011, Decibel celebrated its largest and most critically acclaimed edition to date, pulling in over 23,000 attendees. The 2011 edition sold both record numbers of festival passes (up 18% from 2010) and individual showcase tickets (up 45% from 2010). For more info visit: www.dbfestival.com

FESTIVAL DIRECTION 2012In 2012, Decibel is focused on broadening its audience through larger venues and increasing all-ages shows, while continuing to push the boundaries of innovative technology through video mapping, video projections, and progressive audio installations.

dB CONFERENCEThe dB Conference promotes the exchange of information through educational and informal conversations by bringing musicians, DJs, fans, and companies together under one roof. These intimate talks have been a launch pad for startups, thought provoking panels, and primers for music production through direct and personal communication with artists. The dB Conference is a unique combination of aspiring and successful artists, aspiring and successful businesses, as well as fans of all kinds.
