4.1.4TheStandardsestablishcertainmandatory/minimumrequirementsforLacrosseFaceMasksinthefollowingareas:

(a)identificationthatstatesthemodelnumber(b)CSAorNOSCAEApprovalonthemask

(c)Achincupprotector(thatprotectsthechin)(d)Atwoorfourpointstrapconfigurationthatwould allowtheusertofastenthemasktothehelmet.

(e)NameofManufacturer(f)Yearordateofmanufacture

(g)JuniororSeniormask.(h)Tobeapproved,alabelmustbeattachedtothe maskandremainattached.Theinformationmust beeasilyvisibletoofficialsatalltimes.

5.Gloves

5.1InBoxLacrosseallplayersarerequiredtowearprotectivegloves,whichmeetthefollowingrequirements:

(a)Mustconformtothehand.(b)Allglovesmusthaveaclothorleathercovering.

(c)Allprotectivematerials(ie:plasticorrubber)mustbeunderthecoveringwithnoadditionalattachments.

(d)Theplayer’sentirefingermustbeencasedwithinthefingeroftheglove.

(e)Glovescannotbealteredinanyway.

5.3Wristprotectionpadandthecuffmustbefastenedandnotallowexposureofthewristarea.Itisrequiredthat,whenwearingglovesspecificallydesignedforLacrosse,thewristjointprotectorpadshouldbeinplaceandproperlysecured.
