Plaster & Wood!is proposal is an exploration of the connection between space and destruction. As a "nal result the project generats a sustainable concept through di#erent materials. Reusing “plaster” and “wood” has driven the concept into a physical model. Destruction is a important stage in the world of circle. In other words, the ruin of objects refers to its own history, social issues, and life detail. To study those questions, how they mani-fest themselves on a daily bases in our present life, is a challenge of discovery. !roughout exploring the connection of the lifespan of materials, we create the question: Is “Destrcution” the end of the process?

A Person’s FlatIt is a personalized project based on a Client daily schedule. !e tightly control nature of the design is due to the client’s timetable and a desire to contribute, for her organized lifestyle. !e Client is interested in anthropology, she collects many antique objects such as old camera, photo, books…etc. Nevertheless, limit space needs to be created as a multifunctional unit which suites all of the client’s needs. !e $at is divided into four sections, they can be adjusted by di#erent usage depending on users preferences and size requirements.

Compound BookshopProposing a compound bookshop where the site is close to a lotus pond and surrounded by trees at the Yunlin University. It captures very nice scenery which attracts students and tourists. !e concept was developed from a rectangular box, it went through several actions of cutting it into pieces and eliminating its volume. !e compound bookshop includes activities such as a book selling space, relaxing Café, and exhibition area. Especially the exhibition area provides an opportunity for students to promote themselves in the centre of the University.

Second traf c owCommunity Centre!e site was used as bomb shelter during the Japanese rule periodin Taiwan. A%er the period the shelter has no longer been used, as it’s originally planned. It turned into an obsolete place, only a few dustmen used it for resting. It is shame that the site is located in a residential area, full of green trees. It also provides an easy access of transport to the city centre. !e proposal transforms the old bomb shelter into a community centre. !e centre helps to improve local connections through many activities. However, population ageing has become an big issue in Yunlin city, it requires many applying measures for the elderly people. Recently mobility scooters have become popular vehicle for the elderly. It solves the problem for all who have walking disablity. Nevertheless the community centre needs to address all the needs form the elderly.

Mexican Diner!e site is located on a small tra&c $ow, surrounded by a residential area and amenities in Dounan town in Taiwan. !e site has less interference with commercial activities. !e culture of Taiwan, eating out is a common activity. !e reasons are due to the low-cost food and the increase of female workers. !erefore, it also a#ects the average kitchen size which has been reduced 30% in the past 10 in Taiwan. To change this kind of eating habit, the proposal shows an exotic restaurant to the locals. It will give them a new prospective, di#erent from fast food chains or takea-ways.

Cultural Centre!is project focuses on a refurbishment of a building ensemble. !e proposal combines a cinema and a museum, intervening the common mem-ory of the locals. !e old parts of the buildings were built during the Japanese colony between 1895 and 1945. During di#erent periods, it used to be a residence for the mayor of Tainan city, a land o&ce, a district o&ce, and a Co-op. !e architecture consists of red bricks lays on Baroque style. !e interior is designed in delicate wood structures. Many details are rarely seen in the past of Taiwanese architecture. !e transformation would re$ect the importance of Tainan as the "rst capital of Taiwan. Interior Design students from four Universities participated in a spatial design project—“BE THERE OR BE SQUARE”. From a philosophic aspect, the proposal creates a birdcage model as a memory con-tainer which contains several “stop moments”.

!e Haunted House was a temporary space for celebrating the University annual anniversary. It welcomes people to take a “terribly experience”, and creates a series of propagation including posters, video ads and campaigns.

!e Tasuling village wanted to promote their local agriculture—Kucha plant. By using the local materials created a "ve meters high Christmas tree with wires and kucha seeds.
