OC Lifeguards offers marine safety educa-tion through its Junior Lifeguard Program.

Lifeguards learn from certifi ed OC Instructors about fundamental ocean safety skills including recogniz-ing ocean hazards, navigating surf, utilizing lifesaving equipment, paddling, surfi ng and bodyboarding. Junior Lifeguards become familiar with local condi-tions and gain a greater appreciation for the marine environment.
