Why the Concern?
1. This waste is toxic and potentially radioactive.
2. If NS is conducting a review on hydraulic fracturing, why are we accepting waste from this industry from other provinces?
3. The risks associated with hydraulicfracturing are real and based on science.

Radioactivity?
Rock formations in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia are known to contain uranium and radon.
Fracking sand used in New Brunswick are known to contain radioactive beads.

Investment in energy conservation, sustainable transportation options, and community based renewable energy sources moving towards a sustainablehealthy economy.
Nova Scotia should stop handling hydraulic fracturing waste from New Brunswick (and elsewhere).
