Aimpoints new Hunter series sights are our latest step in product development. These newsights combine outstanding optical performance and modern design features in a packagethat o ers hunters the advantages of speed and accuracy, and will end their reliance on magni-

ed hunting scopes. The Micro series sights are small enough to be used in applications wheresize and weight have limited the applicability of red dot sights in the past, and they are ruggedenough to do the job required in those applications.

Around the world there are well over one and half million hunters, sports shooting enthusiasts, police and military personnel who use Aimpoint sights. We thank you for your continued support. For those who have yet to use our products, we look forward to showing you how Aimpointsights will improve your shooting. Just wait until you see what we do next.

    Sincerely

    The Presidents Letter

To Our ValuedCustomers and Friends:In 1974, a small group of Swedish entrepreneurs started exploring ways to improve shootingaccuracy. Their goal was simple but ambitious - to create a sighting technology that would allowshooters to acquire their target quickly, and to hit moving targets in all weather and lightingconditions consistently and accurately. Little did they know at the time that their invention, the Aimpoint sight, would revolutionize the shooting and hunting industry.

In basic terms, Aimpoints breakthrough technology allows a shooter to do what comes natu-rally - keep both eyes open while focusing on a target. When a shooter looks into an Aimpointsight, a red dot appears in the lens. The shooter can then quickly superimpose the red dot onthe target. When the red dot is on the target, youre on target. It is this combination of speedof sighting and accuracy that makes Aimpoint sights the preferred choice for beginners andexperts alike.

Because of Aimpoints constant innovation and dedication to its craft, it is recognized as theworldwide leader in sight system technology. In our newest catalog, we have built upon our lat-est advancement, Advanced Circuit E ciency Technology (ACET), further enhancing t he qualityand e ectiveness of our sights.

User friendlinessAimpoint sights are extremely user friendly. Operated bya mechanical switch or push-buttons, an Aimpoint sightcan be easily and quickly changed to the right setting whilesimultaneously aiming through your sight. Our mechanicalswitch and push buttons wont freeze and are easy t o usewhether you are wearing gloves or not.

Environmental awarenessAt Aimpoint, we take great pride in making sure that neitherhazardous nor radioactive materials are used in our sights.

QualityAimpoint sights are manufactured in accordance with ISO9001:2008 and meet the highest standards of quality. Eachsight is hand-built at our state of the art facilities in Sweden, assigned an individual identi cation number, and subjectedto rigorous testing and numerous quality control checksduring the manufacturing process.

Aimpoints Advanced Circuit E ciency TechnologyWe pioneered the development of the red-dot sight in 1975,so every Aimpoint sight has over 35 years of advancedElectro-optical science built in.

Aimpoints new Advanced Circuit E ciency Technologycombines our superior accuracy and ease of use withsigni cantly lower power usage to maximize battery life.ACET sights can last up to 50,000 hours (over 5 years) oconstant use from a single battery. That is 49,000 hoursmore than other competitive sights on the same setting.

Aimpoint has taken another giant step forward by applyingits scienti c expertise in developing the new Hunter seriessights. The Hunter sights o er full length product perfor-mance with features like 34 mm tubes and digital bright-ness adjustments. Place the dot on the target, squeezethe trigger, and your job is done. Add an Aimpoint Huntesight to your favorite rearm and put our science to thetest. Were ready when you are.

Aimpoint - Global leaderAimpoint is the recognized worldwide leader and originatorof red dot sighting technology. After more than 35 y earsof working closely with experienced hunters, marksmenand military weapon systems experts around the world,Aimpoint red dot sights remain the No. 1 choice for com-bining ruggedness, speed and accuracy.

Why an Aimpoint Red Dot Sight?

The Aimpoint PhilosophyWhen the time comes to shoot, there should be absolutelyno question that you can count on your sight to perform. We believe that a weapon sight should simplify aiming whilemeeting the highest possible requirements for reliabilityand ruggedness. We know that conditions in the eld placeextreme demands on your equipment, so we design andtest Aimpoint products to stand up to any conditions youare likely to encounter. We also design our products tooperate constantly for years on a single battery so your sight will always be ready whenever you need it.

Why a Red Dot Sight? To be successful, shooters must be able to aim accuratelyand quickly under a wide variety of conditions. On a shoot-ing range, there is plenty of time to take aim, but in thereal world, everything is in fast motion. Add rough terrain, foul weather, poor light and high levels of stress and eventhe most experienced marksman will be put to the test.

Red dot sights are superior to iron sights and magnifyingscopes in several ways. Using these other typ es of aimingdevices require that the shooters focus leaves the target. With iron sights, shooters must align the rear and frontsights with the target. Magni ed scopes slow you down.Your eld of vision is severely limited, and locating your target through a tube with one eye closed wastes valuabletime and destroys your situational awareness.

The single red dot has been proven to be the fastesttype of reticule to place on target, and provides the great-est increase in hit probability on moving targets. Red dotsights allow you to remain focused on the target. Shoot-ing with both eyes open means that you r emain in touchwith what is going on around you, and will never againmiss an important shot because your scope was on thewrong magni cation!

Why an Aimpoint Red Dot Sight?Place the dot on your target - from any angleAimpoint sights are parallax-free, which means that thevisible dot remains parallel to the bore of your weaponno matter what angle your eye is in relation to the sight. This means you never have to worry about centering thedot inside the sight. When the dot is on target, so are you.You will be able to get on target fast, and can forget aboutbeing challenged by bad light or moving targets.

All conditions - Anywhere Aimpoint sights work in all light conditions from the dark-ness of the forest before dawn to bright mountain sun-light. They are fully waterproof so you never have to worryabout rain or immersion. Aimpoint sights are developedand tested to be used in any weather conditions, fromthe sub-zero temperatures of the Arctic to the heat andhumidity of the tropics.

On any type of rearmWhether you have a ri e, shotgun, handgun, black powderri e or bow, Aimpoint has a sight for you.

Standard features on all Aimpoint sights Unlimited eld of view Parallax-free and unlimited eye relief Una ected by extreme weather conditions Extremely rugged, durable construction No hazardous materials

No laser emission that could be harmful to your eyes Increased aiming con dence and hit probability Reduced training time and ammunition consumption Battery life measured in years

Laurent Bedu Chief Editor, Armes de chasse, France

After hunting with the Aimpoint 7000 and 9000 models, then with the Micro H-1 whiche ciency, size and weight seduced me, I discovered the Hunter H34S sight during adriven-hunt in Sweden. From the rst look into that optic, I am totally surprised. In thissight, the image seems even more precise and appears enlarged somehow. It is likeaiming and hunting on a giant screen, a full HD in some way.

No red dot sight until now has made this kind of impression on me. The target is im-mediately found and the point directly projected on the game this speed makes thissight highly e cient. To shoot with the H34 is so incredibly easy, it astonishes me.

And on this day, the Aimpoint H34 sight and Saint Hubert were with me. Three moo-

ses and one fox crossed the way of this last generation red dot sight, each time with aperfect result. What more could I ask for?

    Austria

I mostly hunt in the mountains of Austria and I usually use a ri escope withmagni cation for a single accurate shot on standing game, such as red or roedeer. I tried an Aimpoint sight and it was a totally di erent experience. With an Aimpoint red dot sight you can shoot your ri e in a more dynamic way, similar to using a shotgun. An Aimpoint sight is a perfect solution on shorter distancesin a typical driven hunt situation, especially for moving or fast-running game.Your focus is always on the target, not just on the reticle - a good assumptionfor a sure, clean and fast killing shot.

We recommend this simple training exercise.Cover the front of your Aimpoint sight with the lens cover ( g 6). Then bring your rearm into position while keepingboth eyes focused on the target. The red dot will now beon the target ( g 5).

Practicing this simple procedure will get you comfortablewith keeping both eyes open while aiming at the target.Thats because with a traditional sight, your eld of view islimited. You lose valuable time focusing through the sightrather than focusing on the target. You also lose eye con-tact with the target and you dont get a general view of thesituation and surroundings.

After performing these exercises you are ready to getthe most out of your Aimpoint sight. You will see how mucheasier and faster it is to aim your rearm with an Aimpointsight and you will improve your shooting.

Mounting the sightWith the variety of models available, there is an Aimposight for virtually every type of rearm. For a sight and a to function as a reliable unit year after year, it is importathat the mounting is done professionally and the mountinrings and bases are of high quality.

The Aimpoint red dot sight does not have a critical erelief. This provides great freedom in locating the sight alothe length of the ri e, and makes it very easy to t theinto a modular system that allows the mounting of severdi erent types of sights on the same r i e.

With your rearm shouldered, withboth eyes open and focused on thetarget, the dot will naturally appear where you want your shot to hit.

Practice aiming with both eyes opand the front lens of the sight covered. After some training, you wilable to aim your rearm more easand faster than ever before.

Learn to aim with both eyes open with-out taking your eyes of the target.

    A

    1. Set up target at close range (less than25 yards).

    2. Place rearm in solid rest and center dot on target.

    3. Take one shot. 4. Replace rearm on solid rest with doton target (A).

    5. Without moving the rearm, turnadjustment screws until red dot is cen-tered over bullets point of impact (B).

    6. Repeat as necessary until point of aimand point of impact are the same.

Aimpoint sights are easy to zeroCAUTION: Place the rearm in a safe condition prior to handling or making any sight adjustments.Aimpoints red dot sights are optically centered. That meansthat if the mount base is properly aligned with your rearmsaction, only minor adjustments should be necessary. It is easi-est if you start the zeroing process from a short distance. Werecommend 25 yards or less. This allows you to immediatelysee if further adjustments need to be made, which in turn cansave you time and ammunition.

Once you have set up a target, get the rearm in a solidrest, aim at the center of the target, take your rst shot andinspect the point of impact, ( g 1&2). Check how well thesight is zeroed and then make any necessary adjustments( g 3). Aimpoints adjustment screws are located on the topand sides of the sight, which allows for impact points to bemoved up/down or right/left. After zeroing the sight at 25meters, you are ready to zero at greater distances.

Aim straight, shoot betterIts simple. Keep both eyes open. For a moment, lower your rearm and focus both eyes onthe target. Next, without taking your eyes o the target, bring your rearm into position so that you are now lookingat the target through the Aimpoint sight ( g 4). The red dotwill now be on the target ( g 5). Its that easy! When the dotis on target, so are you. Since all Aimpoint sights are parallaxfree, you never have to worry about centering the red dotinside the sight.
