WHAT IS CFC?

• An opportunity for all Federal Employees to improve quality of life for Soldiers, Civilians, Retirees, and their Families through contributions

• The ONLY authorized DoD solicitation for charitable donations in the Federal workplace

• Controlled by the Office of Personnel Management (OPM)

• Fort Benning Garrison Commander’s staff executes CFC

• Local community organizations received $48,000 – less than previous years. That amount is declining

• 66th largest campaign out of 226

paycheck– Payroll deductions start in January, when pay

– Pink copy is torn off and kept by the donor as a receipt and record of donation
