Words to Live By
Faith can move
mountains.
The surest way to get
anything in life, is to
prepare to live without
it.
Remember the power of
kindness!
Spend more time living
rather than getting ready
to live.
Watch sunrises and
sunsets.
Perseverance is failing
ten times and succeeding
the eleventh.
When you think all is
lost, the future remains.
Receive by giving.
Know what to remember
as well as what to forget.
Your Musical Talents are needed through the summer months. Sign up in the Gathering Area if you can provide music for our worship services. Singing, piano, instrumental. All welcome.
Meet & Mingle
June 18, at 1:30 pm
Come and have treats and fellowship time with
our members who reside at the Chippewa
Manor Retirement Center
We meet on the third Monday of each month.
Dear Friends,
We’ve just wrapped up another year of Sunday School, What’s in the Box, Youth Group and
Music Groups. It was another exciting year made successful by many volunteers and I would
like to thank everyone who made these educational experiences happen.
You’ve probably seen or heard the acronym TEAM—Together Everyone Accomplishes More.
The church also works on the “Team” concept—we call it sharing our gifts.
Think of what would happen if we only had one person trying to handle the finances of the
church, our worship experiences, maintenance of the building, spiritual growth and education,
etc.? It would be a disaster, not much, if anything, would be accomplished.
So I would like to thank everyone for their involvement in the life of Trinity United Methodist
Church. Without your help our ministries would not be available to our congregation and our
community. I also would like to encourage and invite those not involved in the life of the
church, to find your niche. We all have gifts to share; we all need care and support at some
time in our lives; we all need to feel the love, encouragement and support of one another.
Spiritual dangers arise when we try to do it alone.
May we continue to work together, so God’s love, care and compassion can shine through us to
our community and the world.
Peace,
Terri

Friday Night Fish Fry
Join us for a Friday night out. Each month, usually the third Friday of the month, we pick a destination for Fish and Fellowship. If a place hasn’t been chosen before the bulletin is ready, it usually is announced at the church service the prior Sunday. There will be a sign-up sheet in the Gathering area so that we have some idea how many plan to come. If your schedule frees you up and you can join us, even if you haven’t signed up, please do so.

Thank you
Thanks from Rich & Ruth Olson
Thank you for all the thoughts,
prayers, and cards that we received.
Both of our surgeries went well.
Rich’s will take longer to recoup
but is great that he is out of pain.
We sure have been blessed with the
best church family anyone could ask
for.
Thank you for all the prayers,
cards, and offers of support at the
unexpected passing of Paul. It has
been a difficult time, but with the
love and care of friends and church
family, I know that God is watching
over me.
Thank you for all you have done.
