•A special Committee has been formed to complete this task. The committee will be co-chaired by Dr. Duran Palmertree and Bill Winters. They should work with other founders and early members to compile the most complete and accurate work possible.

Updating the UXAA Constitution

•Current Constitution for UXAA was written before the UXAA was actually functioning

•Some of the structures of the UXAA are unnecessary (Alumni Board, etc.)

•A Committee will be formed to study the Constitution and propose changes to be discussed and ratified at Homecoming 2010.

•The “Committee to Amend the UXAA Constitution” will be co-chaired by Dr. Dewayne Thompson and Dr. Robert Fisher.

•Upsilon has not undertaken a fund-raising project since the Mace project in 2002

•<Project name removed> is one project that has been identified as a “need” by the Lee Administration

•We are not looking for a “commitment” at this time, we just want to gauge interest in pursuing this project.

The Distinguished Alumnus of the Year Award is the highest honor that Upsilon Xi can bestow upon one of its members. Since 1985, Upsilon Xi has annually recognized one of its alumni who has distinguished himself and in doing so has brought credit to himself, to Lee University, and to Upsilon Xi.
